Heritage RBC Assemble!

Kind of, I guess. Actually, this morning, when I did it with my sister, it was kind of hard to tell how fast/slower I should be going. I went 4 seconds over the 10 minute time, because I was so used to speaking really fast. :)

Well, it's better to have lots of extra time, rather than run short on time!

It says this: "Due to the length of the Bible memory passages this summer, the Oral Test Rounds at the Local Contests (not Nationals) will be extended from 10 minutes to 12 minutes for each child. Our intent is to allow every child a little more time to proclaim as much of God’s Word as they have committed to memory in a way that honors the words they are reciting, rather than have them feel pressured to rush through the passages. We want each child to be encouraged by their valuable investment in their relationship with Jesus and knowledge of His Word!"

@Christian - I really don't know what to say about your picture. I think that was pretty smart and funny what you did though :) I did what it said, and laughed out loud at what happened and then went and told Daniel and Amy about it - they thought it was funny as well :P

Wow, I didn't know we used this anymore. I thought that this would remain here unused to be found by Memeverseers of a future generation. We'd be adults and be like " Oh yes, there used to be a topic that us HRBCers used, it might be deleted, but why don't you go and see if it's still there?" But I digress. Anyhoo, it's cool to see this ol' place bein' used again!

EDIT: Very funny Christian! Mine only works when you're typing a report for school, when you're halfway done, press ctrl+z. That'll get you some results you won't forget easily!

@Bethany–Yeah, Christian told me he actually found the picture on Gravatar; and, of course, obeyed what it said. :P He said he liked it and decided to have it as his picture. :)

We had a guest speaker, Mr. Timothy Brindle on Sunday. In Sunday School he gave us his testimony, in our Morning Service he preached about the "dark night of the soul" that David was experiencing in Psalm 13, and for our PM service our pastor expounded a Messianic prophecy in Isaiah……..54 I think? I'll have to check my notes again.

We're going through Romans. Came across a quote from WM "even the KJV edition that is tainted by the Mormons." in my own words but fairly close. I memorize out of the KJV, do you really believe the Mormons tainted it, I highly doubt it. Interested in your replies, I know your dad is busy so maybe Christian or Nicholas? or even Sauron :P

Could you tell me where that quote is? I'm not sure what he meant by that, but maybe seeing it in the context of the comment would help. :) Maybe he was being sarcastic or something, like usual… :P

Actually, I think what my dad meant, Nathan, was that the Mormons have their own edited version of the KJV. He didn't mean that the actual Authorized version is inferior; he just meant that their "Inspired Version" is.
