So, I have a question for y'all - how many Bible Bee contestants are you going to get to sign up this year from your Church? Last year you had 18, didn't you? It would be neat if you had more than 18! :P

Are the Fishers thinking about signing up this year? That would be SO neat if they did!

Probably. I'm thinkin' we'll have about 22 people this year, give or take.

Actually, my family will probably have 4.

We're going through Romans. Came across a quote from WM "even the KJV edition that is tainted by the Mormons." in my own words but fairly close. I memorize out of the KJV, do you really believe the Mormons tainted it, I highly doubt it. Interested in your replies, I know your dad is busy so maybe Christian or Nicholas? or even Sauron :P

I know this topic is old but I wanted to interject that there is no way The (original) KJV could be tainted by Mormanism, because Mormanism was founded in 1827-30, and the KJV was translated in 1611.

No way! I was just heading over here to ask the same question! Well, great minds think alike!

It's referring to the church that I and a few other Memversers attend: Heritage Reformed Baptist Church. The reason it says "Assemble" is because when this topic was created, our family was trying to get some other families in our church to join us in the Bible Bee. Apparently, it worked! ;P

@SBG: Oh, ok, thanks! I've been wondering that for awhile now, and I was finally like, you know what, I'm gonna ask, even if it's dumb. :D Actually I thought it was some kind of homeschool conference or something where Bible Bee contestants flock :P

Actually I have a twelve-year-old brother who likes it. His favorite I believe is Zane.

Ah. Zane's my fav, hence the username! Jay's funny, and I also like Cole. I think people tend to think too highly of Kai and Lloyd though.

Funny thing, I know what Ninjago IS, but I don't know anything about it, other than it has something to do with Legos and spinny tops. And so I will leave this conversation as quickly as I entered it. :P

I did not…but my brother did. There were so many other kites that I was afraid I would have got my kite all tangled up with the other kites. It was fun watching the professionals fly their dual-line kites.

It was…because the dual line kites had a super long rainbow colored tail and so the person flying it had it spin in spirals and made it go really fast…it was SO neat.

Wow! Lol it must have been pretty windy cause I can't even get a kite going. :) I have some pretty interesting kite stories… :) lets just say, I have a tree in my backyard. :P lol :)

It was pretty windy…and cold. It wouldn't work to fly a kite in our yard either…we have about 11 trees in our yard plus all the electrical wires. What happened…did you get your kite stuck in something?
