When you feel like you haven't studied enough and thoroughly answered a question when you can fit your answer on the lines provided.

When you tell your Grandma that you memorized the whole book of Jonah… and she reacts like you memorized Psalms xD

When "Daylight Savings Time" is somehow inseparably tied with some of the best memories ever.

That reminds me…a few days before Nationals my grandmother came to our house to test me and the girls on our verses. Whenever we came to a passage around four or more verses, my grandmother would say, "Here's a long one," or something like that, and I would think "Jeremiah 50:22-46," and then it would be James 1:13-16, or something like that. It always made me want to laugh because I was memorizing about four times that amount per day :).

…when your family owns five copies of Think Biblically!, and most of your family has never even read it. XD

You know you're in Bible Bee when people randomly quiz you on Bible knowledge, and you always give an answer that they don't expect.

Person: Recite the verse that starts, "In the beginning"

Me: Jeremiah 26:1 In the beginning of the reign of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah came this word from the LORD, saying, Jeremiah 26:1

:D I was thinking, "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him was not anything made that was made. In Him was life…" :)

You know you're in Bible Bee when you see the clock turn to 2:12pm and immediately think of a passage that has that as a reference - like Joel 2:12.

You know you're in Bible Bee when you see a sign that says, "Est 1932" and think, "What? There's only 10 chapters in Esther!"

You know you're in Bible Bee when you hear a hymn melody and more quickly recall the Bible Bee passage from 2010 that was set to that tune than the name of the hymn itself.

You see OT written on your grandmother's whiteboard in her hospital room, and think, "Old Testament? What can that mean?"

^It's for Occupational Therapist, I think is what my grandmother said^

I think that all the time, because I work with kids who have to see their occupational therapists regularly, so I always have to think twice when I see that acronym. XP

Your know you're in the Bible Bee… when you can divide a pile of verse cards perfectly in half (mostly for psychological purposes: two small piles seem a lot nicer than one big, imposing pile).

You know you're in the Bible Bee… when you are an expert in the scissoral arts (you can't cut out 75 pages of verse cards without learning a things or two).

Imperfect cards drive me crazy. One of he hardest parts of the Bible Bee for me was learning that it's okay if I occasionally cut outside the lines.

^ Me too! :P I actually don't think I've quite learned that it's okay if they're not perfect, yet.

Yeah…it took a while for me to accept that fact that my card are 4 different sizes this year xP Lol. With the locals cards, pre-release, nats cards, and correct cards, all being different sizes. xP

I knowww!!! That is partly wilst I made my own cards. xP Because I would have to have all sorts of separate piles (because everyone knows you can't have one pile with different side cards in it), and now I can have all of them, even the locals ones, in the same stack. xP

Delie (looking for Thomas): "Where is he?"

Haha, Anna!
My favorite to quote is "This did not Abraham…!" because it sounds kinda funny in KJV. xP And it works for so many things!

Haha! My four year-old brother (James) uses the expression "greater that our father Jacob" to refer to anything that is particularly great :).

Whenever I hear "I am", my mind goes to John 8:58 "Jesus said to them, 'Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM.'"
