You know…I have yet to recount all the stitches in the family. 4000 in all I do believe…most of them were in my side, and came from chatting with you people!

This past summer I ended up in a bike accident due to the fact that my sister wasn't watching where she was going on her bike! :P She swerved in front of my bike and caught my wheel. I went over the side of the bike and felt like my cheek was being pressed into the blacktop when I landed… I banged my shoulder up so badly and by God's grace I didn't break my collarbone! I had road-burn on my shoulder and knee, a big cut on my hand, and my shoulder got jammed quite a bit.

I couldn't play violin for a while. :P

(And that's all I think about, right? Just kidding.)

I tripped over a (conveniently placed) scooter in our garage while carrying a glass bottle. I had to get 4 stitches at the bottom of my right thumb. It didn't actually hurt that much, though; the painful part was the numbing!!

Let's see. I had a broken collarbone when I was born, I broke at least 2 of my 20 toes, had a rock thrown into my eye by my bother, a screw from my ankle to the top of my knee from falling through a shelf, I got knocked out falling from the loft, and playing hide 'n go seek in the dark in the basement (Bad idea), I stuck a needle through my finger nail that then fell off and proceeded to grow back a bit rippley, I lost a couple of my marbles, and have a few loose screws, we were in a wreck where my dad ran into a tree and broke the front wind shield (What a headache…), I hit my nose really hard and almost broke it (LOL), I have sprained both wrists and both ankles multiple times, I have dislocated a finger, I sliced my hand open on our gate, the dog bit my elbow, the horse stepped on my foot, and the bother dropped the basketball goal on my foot, I nearly drowned when I was 12, I was too close for comfort to a shark, I nearly stepped on the tail of a sting-ray (I just stepped on its back), I fell up our porch stairs and cut my chin open, I nearly lost my thumb when the dog was running away, I scraped both elbows, both knees, my nose, chin, and forehead in a bicycle wreck (Glares at somebody), I roller-skated on a screw and got it imbedded in my foot, I have a scar from a tick, I impaled my foot on a nail and a Cracker Barrel Game Peg (Glares at a different somebody), I have left a nice impression of a LEGO on my toe, and I have hit my head on my ceiling fan, I have fallen off my bed and landed on "Systematic Theology" by Wayne Grudem, I have been bitten by a Black Widow, I sliced my wrist with fencing, My bother and his friend pushed me on a porch swing over fake grass and took the skin off of two of my toes and broke them, I burnt my whole hand in the oven, I hurt my ego when I fell off the play house roof (Don't ask…), I put my arm on a nail that went all the way through, I probably broke a couple ribs when my brother stopped in front of me and I ran into his elbow, I bruised my backside when I grabbed onto the stair rail and it came off, I sprained my ankle when someone moved the basement stairs, I busted my lip when I ran into the closet corner, buckstove, and china cabinet, I pulled a muscle in my hip while I was chasing the run away dog, the same one that nearly wrenched my thumb off, I broke a finger when I slid down the stair rail, I got hit in the face with a football that left quite an impression, I injured my elbow playing baseball on the wii (Hey, at least I beat my little brother!), broke my middle finger on my right hand.
I think this might be all… But probably not…

But all in all, I have not visited the hospital for myself, nor have I had any stiches. I think I'm doing pretty good not killing myself what do you think?

I think the most painful experience of my life was when I was doing a handstand and my right foot came down on a door frame and it was all purple and red and… painful. It actually wasn't very bad, though, compared to what some of you (especially Rosie xP) have gone through.
I must be really stupid to do a handstand when I'm that close to a doorframe though. xP

The worst injuries I've gotten were stepping on a nail and falling off a horse (unbroken, bareback) and she sprained my ankle badly by kicking it. :P None of us have broken a bone, though. Dad has. Not sure about Mom.
I have always been a little leery of my sharp sword above my head (in my bed) on a tilting-forward shelf, but so far it hasn't fallen and…ah…decapitated me. XP I've cut my fingers (on the the tips by the fingernail) with my mini pocketknife when I was 8-12 many times. O.o

Wow, y'all seem to have a way of getting into "scrapes." :P

I injured my tail bone while rollerskating, I don't think I broke it but I might have. I've been in a bike crash, which was very horrible (I still have a scar from that - I badly scraped both hands and my side, though my right hand was the worst), Um…oh yeah, I've gashed open my knee and it didn't super glue very well so I have a scar from that… I burned myself making waffles…that's the worst burn I've ever had (2nd degree)…+all the other minor burns I've had… Uh…I gashed my top lip open after my frenulum was cut (Courtney says I'm under-exaggerating that:P)…Oh, and I had a bloody nose once. :P

I've also had numerous scrapes and scratches and splinters, though those don't really count. I have fallen off/been thrown off horses before, but never been injured by it, thankfully.

Courtney says: "Brianna, tell Rachel to get that sword off that shelf! Is she trying to scare us half to death?" =P

I'll add to it later if I remember anything else…

You people… xD
I think the worst injury I've had was a slightly sprained ankle or the time I tripped and cut my chin open. Other than that, most of my injuries are made up of me accidentally cutting my fingers, nosebleeds, and running into things because I don't have my glasses on. xP

Well, I think scars would count more than a horse stepping on your foot or stubbing your toe on a lego. Those things have happened to me too. I could give you a whole page worth of "injuries" if those kind of things count (and if I could remember them all). =P Because they were gashes, or cuts, or whatever you want to call them. XPP

@Brianna- I got bored one day so I made a list of all my injuries and thought I would post it on here. I didn't find my original document so I'm missing some of the smaller ones. =)

At Nats this year I tripped in the baby pool and skinned my knee very deep(ly?). I'll remember that happy experience of blood slopping all over my swim skirt whenever I see the mark. XP

Wow Rachel! I did the same thing!!! Not in the baby pool, but there was one part where it was three feet deep and then it went up to two feet but I didn't know that and so I came down but skinned my knee. :P It wasn't very bad, but I have a scar. :P

Once my sister was closing the door from the outside and she didn't see my finger, and she closed the door and my finger got stuck in the door and so my nail fell off.

Let's see… I've swallowed a watch battery and had to go to the hospital(but didn't get surgery), I've gotten my head split open and almost got stitches, I've had chicken pox, I've smashed a couple of toes pretty badly and on one of them the nail came off, I've gotten a pretty bad infection on my left knee, I burned myself on a cookie pan and got a 2nd degree burn, and I've twisted my ankle. This is not including the countless minor scrapes and burns that I've gotten over the years. :P

Ummm… I was like 3, and I saw Rachel's watch batteries on the counter and thought 'Huh, interesting.', and started playing with them. Well, a certain somebody didn't like me playing with them, and tried to take them away. I tried to keep her from taking all of them by putting one in my mouth, and accidentally swallowed it. I'm pretty sure that's how it happened. :P

Okay, major injuries I've had-

I nearly got a concussion, I think, at Hume SD the first year. I had finally gotten up the courage to participate in Rec, so I ran out for this one game. Another girl and I didn't see each other in time, and we ran into each other by accident. Next thing I knew was finding myself on the ground with my glasses thrown to the side, slightly bent. I got up and kept running (in a more dizzy manner than usual) and then my counselor had me go to the nurses', and my forehead bled quite a bit. Our score counted because I continued. :\

A couple years later (at Hume Lake), I was shot into the air on the Blog thingie and landed weirdly; so, I had giant bruises for the rest of the week. :\

I slit myself with my violin bow. I held the heel more weirdly than usual, and stood up. The bow moved in a weird way and cut my hand a little. Ouch. :)

During PE, a girl and I were playing badmitton inside on the hard tile-like floor. I called for the bird and went for it, and then she went for it at the same time. I landed at such a weird angle, and my leg still hurts sometimes. :

Hmm, I can't remember everything, but I've ran into multiple things, almost fallen off two inch high stages, gotten stung by a scorpion, gotten stung by a bee the same year, hurt my same leg earlier and nearly passed out at the pool because I shot out of my seat. :(

Probably the most painful and long lasting was the leg moments or the bee sting. The scariest was the scorpion. The most tramautizing was when a car "bumped" into me. A few times, I got really bad stomach bugs. That's the thing about me- I always try to hold out until the end of the school day before doing anything about sickness and such. :) :(

And, that was my injury life in one post. :)

Ohohoh. I got a couple more stories to share. xDD Let's see, I gashed open my arm, to the bone, in July (as well as scraping open my hip, but not as deeply), and I got a concussion in late October. I also think I broke my thumb in July as well, but I'm not positive. :P Not to mention numerous scrapes and scratches that resulted in several new scars. Yeah, 2018 wasn't the best year concerning injuries for me. xDD
