@Rosie, I'll be praying! I got my braces off in February, and my brother just got his partially on. Please be praying for him, too. He's supposed to get the rest of his on within the next couple of months, so he'll be "ouch" too for a while. (Oh, yeah, and he might have to get his headgear tightened next week, too!)

Oh, yeah, I forgot. I just saw Johnathan yesterday. He's doing great, but he has a checkup on the 31st, and he might need surgery like a week or two after that.

EDIT: And please pray for my friend Rachel's younger sister. She's been pretty sick, I guess, and last I heard they don't know what's wrong. Thanks.

How are you feeling today, Rosie?

PTL, much better than yesterday evening! My orthodontist told me that I would have a lot of soreness and pain for two to three days, but I've had very little today! I am soo grateful for that, as I don't know how I would have made it through the rest of the week if I had felt the way I did last night!
Though, I can't eat anything that includes chewing, and I'm having a hard time getting used to them :) Which makes sense :)

I just found out that my cousin Corbin is in the hospital, they think he might have something wrong with his heart. You would have to know him to realize what a huge problem for him that is, since he basically lives and breathes basket ball. He is really good at it, and it wouldn't surprise me if when he graduated he was planning on going pro. Anyway, I am asking special prayer for their family because his parents are not living together at this point. Please pray that God will work mighty works in their family through this, and bring them back together. I don't know if he is a Christian, I know his brother is, but that doesn't make him one. So please pray for his salvation, and for his parents marriage, that God would just really use this in their lives for his glory.

Oh, no – I'll write that down in my prayer journal write now.

Corbin has several appointments to day with different heart specialist doctors, please keep praying that God will use this in his life and in that of his parents, to draw them to Himself. If he has the problem that they think he does, then they are going to put a pacemaker in, and that will be the end of his basketball playing. I don't think that's going to go over very well, unless God really gets a hold of him.

Hey guys. We have a big problem with our water system that is affecting about 33 communities around our area right now. Most, if not all, the members of our church are affected even though some live at least 30 minutes away. There's something wrong with the filtration system, and they say we should boil water before we drink it. They say we can't even make ice unless we boil the water first. They say they'll have it fixed in about 2-3 days, but that's a long time. Please pray that it gets fixed quickly, and that no one gets sick from this thing. Thanks!

Oooooh! I've never broken a bone, the closest I've come to breaking one is when I was leaning out a sort of tree house thingy window and I started falling. There I was, dangling by my hands and feet. OCTSRIS ran down under it to catch me if I fell, but my neighbor lifted me back up into the treehouse. :) I am soo very grateful to her!

Ok - please be praying hard! Andrew Miller, our pastoral cantidate, will be having lunch with us today and meeting with members of the congregation throughout the rest of the weekend. Sunday he will be preaching. Please pray that he will work out and we will be able to make a call!! Thanks.

Yikes! I had one of those recently as well, and it's not fun. I'll be praying! :-(

Please pray for our family. My dad thinks he has shingles, and the last thing our family needs right now is an outbreak of chicken pox. We've been told it shouldn't be very contagious, but it is still a bit concerning.

I just wanted to let you know that it is contagious. We went down to our friends house and their dad had shingles and they told us that it was not contagious but after we got home we all got chicken pox…as did all their children.

His sores are under his clothing, and he washes his hands with soap every time he touches them. We've been told that will drastically reduce the chances of infection.

Maybe it will but I just wanted to let you know that it was the same way with him and we still all got it. Just wanted to make sure you knew that.

I hope you realize how serious this is…. Anyway, I'll tell my parents you said that.

Can you guys please pray for me? My right forearm and hand have been hurting since yesterday, and it seems worse today. It's hard to do a lot of things like pull a door open, pick up a book, or write something on paper. Please pray that it feels better soon.

As the Bible Bee approaches, I think it would be good to pray for all the contestants.

1. That we would all stay healthy
2. That we would be able to focus these last two weeks
3. That we would all do our best and glorify God no matter what the results.

Our family has been praying for all the contestants as well. :)

We were playing a new game at our youth group in which we had to hit this giant ball into a wall to get points. It was a lot of fun (and complicated), but it's been hurting ever since Monday. It is feeling much better today though. :)
