Obviously Sam needs our prayers on several levels...

Yeah, I do, There's this website I go to, for memorizing Bible verses, and it has these forums with all these people who don't understand me. Most of them are homeschooled girls with WAY too much time on their hands, and they're constantly criticizing me. It's crazy, but I'm trying to still be a good friend to them, even though one of them likes to pretend to be a nurse, and this other one keeps yelling my name in all Caps.

LOL…wow…I must be tired. It took me till the end of that post to figure out you were actually talking about Memverse. :P

And to keep this post on topic, here's an update. Melody and Summer both had a low-grade fever last night (normal for this type of illness), but have been feeling fine all day today. Courtney and I are going to stay in the guest room one more night but if all goes well we will be re-joining our family in the morning.

That makes more sense. Cause I understand him pretty well… Lol jk

Lol, no, we're not that quarantined. In fact, I'm in my regular cubicle in the office right now. :P

Oh. That's probably just as well. I imagine that it would be difficult to get lemonade through a slot after all.

True. Although we did stop the lemonade cleanse today. :)

You can say that again! Fried eggs, buttered pumpkin bread and fruit smoothies are much better than that same old spicy lemonade we've had for five days! We were glad to let our siblings have the last of our final batch. :)

What was the lemonade cleanse for?

We had already been wanting to do it for a while, to cleanse our bodies and strengthen our immune system, but this episode of shingles gave us a reason to actually start it. I also did it for three days earlier this year when I was having a bit of trouble with allergies. It really helps!

I have never done any diets except when forced to because of braces, shingles, and then in a couple of weeks I will be getting my wisdom teeth out. Of course, those are a little different…

It may have if we had it all at once, but we took it slowly. Courtney felt a little bit of queasiness, but I felt fine all through yesterday. I'm pretty much back to normal now, except having lost a few pounds and my stomach is slightly smaller. :)

Did you go strait to normal food? We got vegetable soup tonight! And persimmons for lunch! They tasted so good!!!!

@Dani - or Jessica, if Dani L. insists :P - Not exactly. We started with kefir Saturday night, then had just one fried egg Sunday morning, and continued to slowly increase the amount throughout Sunday and Monday. Ohh, I haven't had a persimmon in such a long time!! licks lips

Hey guys. My mom is probably going to have surgery to take her gall bladder out next week, and it will probably be Monday. Please pray that the surgery goes well, and that this solves the problems my mom has been having with her gut.

No way!!! My mom will be having hers out in about 3 weeks or so. That's what was causing all her problems, and the reason we have to take the baby sooner then planned (2-3 days, actually!) I'll pray for your mom!

Looks like we may have a pastor soon… sounds like we just made a call to Mr. Miller and he accepted. Now it has to go through the session and the presbytery… still a good possibility that it may not go through, so please keep praying! God is good and I know He has perfect timing. :)

Oh, and by the way, Johnathan's having surgery on the 19th. Please pray for him too. Thx!

I'd like to ask prayer for my Mother. This weekend she's having our new little brother. But, it's her first hospital birth (she's had all the rest of us at home) and plus she's going to need to be induced, so I know she's somewhat nervous. Please pray for her, and for our family. :)

Please pray for my mom! She is definitely having gall bladder surgery on Monday. This is her first major surgery ever. Please pray that this solves the problem she has with her gut, and that the surgery goes well.

Update on Mrs. Travis- Both her eye surgeries went well! PTL! However, the steroids she's on to prevent inflammation are causing overall muscle weakness, so she could use prayer for that.
