The meds did an X-ray last night and discovered that Taylor also has pneumonia in his lungs. They put him on a ventilator early this morning. My mom spent the last 24 hours with him. She said that he seems to be recovering, and that the meds are doing a much better job caring for him than we ever could at this point. Thank God for medical technology!

Praise the Lord that he is doing better - still praying for y'all! Thanks SO much for updating us, I appreciate it so much…this has been on my mind all day.

Taylor is doing good, considering. He will probably be hospitalized for a couple of weeks. The X-rays finally showed a little bit of improvement of the congestion in his lungs this morning. Lord willing, we are over the hump and Taylor will recover.

My parents and grandparents do and have, but I'm not sure if siblings are allowed to. I'm not really sure if I would want to right now anyway, with all that I've heard about how he's hooked up to a ventilator and all. It just might freak me out.

Yes, I'm sure. I remember when my dad was in ICU after his heart surgery, my older brother (who was in Nursing School) said he almost passed out being in there. I wasn't allowed in because I wasn't old enough, but I know that it was hard to see even before his surgery when he only had a few IVs in. Praying for y'all.

@All: A few weeks ago we went to visit some dear friends and while there we went to their church service and met some people there. Well the dad of one of the families was in a roll over car accident. All I know is that he was breathing on his own. Please be praying for their family.

I will be praying. Keep us posted on how he is doing.

He is unconscious right now. He has a broken rib and several fractures. It appears he has no brain damage. Praise the Lord! He was driving a truck with a trailer on the back. He lost control of the truck and it started rolling over.

EDIT: He is in a lot of pain. Please pray that he will get the rest he needs. He also had severe fractures in his leg. Please also pray for his family…he has three children.

Things have been rolling along about the same. Taylor seems to be slowly but surely recovering.

I have a miserable cold I had a fever and I have 12 hours of school to do! Why do you have to do 12 hours of school today?

Because I haven't been doing it since i have been laying in bed the last few days. (I'm not required to do all of it but I have not finished a full week of school for weeks.) Here is my school list,

He is probably going to be in the hospital for some time. He has a badly fractured leg, broken ribs, a punctured lung, and continues to recover from a concussion. He is in a great deal of pain.

He has been and will continue to be in my prayers. Is there anything the family needs at this time? I would live to send a card to them.

That would be great, but don't go out of your way to get it. Let me know if there are any other needs they might have. I'm sure this must be a terrible burden on the whole family.

Well, I have no easy way of getting the address. The best way to help would be to pray for them all.

Wow! Um I don't feel like it's really important for me 2 no who was in the middle of it but I think I can guess…..

Update: Yesterday Taylor was off the ventilator for four hours, the meds wanted to see if he was ready to breathe on his own yet. Although they had to put him back on the ventilator, it was great to hear that he had improved enough for them to think that he might be ready! Praise the Lord! Please continue praying for Taylor's speedy recovery. We all miss him so much.

Actually, Taylor has been hospitalized since last Sunday.

Courtney told me on Saturday that he was home! I'm confused…

Well, you asked me to answer this question, but I don't really know how, except to reaffirm that Taylor has not been home since last Sunday. Probably a misunderstanding.

The Sunday 2 days ago? Or a week and two days? I have NO idea how I could have misunderstood Courtney THAT much. Oh well. Thanks anyways.
