Found time to do my reading and Bible Study today:)
Here's the verses that stood out to me."For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother’s womb.
I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well." Psalm 139:13-14

Today I read Mark 8, Gen 30, Eph2, 2 Thes 3, Job 9, Ps 72, Prov 23, Neh 1, Micah 3, & Acts 20.
This verse in Acts really stood out to me: "I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive. " Acts 20:35

Has anyone else been reading the Bible lately?

Sorry it's been so long since I last posted here! Today I read Day 106: Leviticus 20, 2 Kings 5, Psalm 109, Proverbs 16, Ecclesiastes 6, Jeremiah 44, Matthew 20, Acts 25, 1 Corinthians 15, and Revelation 1. I don't know exactly why my list is a bit mixed up–I must have reread a chapter somewhere along the line. :) Did the rest of you do your reading today? :)

@Great job Eden, I was beginning to wonder if I was the only one reading the Bible for a few days:)

@ everyone, I read Gen 31, Neh 2, Job 10, Ps73, Prov 24, Micah 4, Mark 8, Acts 21, Eph3, 1Tim 1.
Here's a few verses from Micah that stood out to me:)
"And many nations shall come, and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, and to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for the law shall go forth of Zion, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem. And he shall judge among many people, and rebuke strong nations afar off; and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up a sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more. But they shall sit every man under his vine and under his fig tree; and none shall make them afraid: for the mouth of the LORD of hosts hath spoken it. For all people will walk every one in the name of his god, and we will walk in the name of the LORD our God for ever and ever." Micah 4: 2-4

Haven't done today's yet… hopefully this evening.

Right now, Im trying to balance the Horner program, a study of Romans with our family, a study of Ezra, and a study of 1st John with BB friends! It's challenging to keep up on everything!

Sorry Everyone, I really have been reading my 10 chapters every day since the last time I posted, and I've been getting some amazing insights too. I just have been trying to monitor my time on my iPad, and make sure it is being spent wisely. I hope you all understand. Here's a passage that really stood out to me in my reading the other day.
"Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away. But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.
Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is." Mark 13:31-33

Urgh, I feel terrible. I keep saying that we need to be more consistent on this thing, but I'm the worst example of consistency!! Anyway… Today I read Day 127: Numbers 10, 2 Kings 1, Job 4, Psalms 127, Proverbs 4, Ezekiel 5, Mark 10, Acts 15, Galatians 4, and Revelation 19. How about the rest of you? :)

I read day 52 this morning! :)

One verse that really blessed me in my reading yesterday was Zephaniah 3:17: The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing.

Just finished reading Gen 43, Neh 11, Job 21, Ps 83, Prov 3, Hab 3, Luke 4, Acts3, Col 4, & Titus 2! The verse that stood out to me this morning was "The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,
To preach the acceptable year of the Lord. " Luke 4:18-19

I did today's reading! Day 123, or something like that. (Though, I got to admit, I still haven't finished Psalm 119 yet….) What day are you on, Nicolas?

Likely Day 131, seeing as I'm on Psalm 131. :) But I've probably mixed up a few things along the line… :)

I know. It's super easy to mix up the days…I've done that more than once! (Like, skipping to Hebrews!!) And, it's quite annoying, because when I go and write out the description of the chapter in my notebook, I get all confused on where I'm at, and where I'm supposed to be. (I'm thinking about getting y'all a copy of the outlines, maybe at Nationals….or something like that….)

Actually, you're doing better than I am, at messing up on chapters. The chart says you'rs supposed to be reading Proverbs 7, Job 7 and Ezekiel 8 on Day 131 :) I've been messed up a lot bigger than that!

I just read Gen 45, Neh 12, Job 22, Psalm 84, Prov 4, Zep 1, Luke 6, Acts 4, Titus 3, & Heb 1!

This verse really stood out to me this morning, and emphasized in my mind the power of prayer! "And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness." Acts 4:31

So today I tried something new, and listened to my 10 chapters on Bible Gateway, while making breakfast. I heard some things I've never noticed before. I heard Gen 47, Neh 13, Job 23, Ps 85, Prov 5, Zep 2, Luke 8, Acts 5, Philemon,& Heb 2.

This verse really stood out to me:)

"Think upon me, my God, for good, according to all that I have done for this people." Neh 13:19

I personally tend to have a harder time paying attention to something when I'm hearing it instead of seeing it, so I'm not sure that would work for me… (though it would be great if it did!) Today I read Numbers 18, 2 Kings 9, Job 12, Psalm 135, Proverbs 12, Ezekiel 13, Luke 2, Acts 23, Ephesians 6, and 1 Thessalonians 5. How about everyone else? :)

It does take some listening skills to keep focused on what your hearing while your doing other things;)
Today I read, Gen 48, Esther2, Job 27, Ps 89, Prov 6, Haggai 1, Luke 10, Acts 7, Heb 5, & James 2!

I think it's very beneficial, and it helps for when you're listening to a sermon message so you don't let your mind wander;)
