@Everyone: Please be praying specifically for Bethany. She can't keep any food down and she has lost 10 pounds from this illness and she has a physical test coming up this week so that she can go ahead with her surgery. Please pray that she would be well enough for her physical this week so that she can have her surgery (may 6). Thanks.

Yikes! I'll definitely be praying for her. I sort of know what it's like to not be able to keep any food down, as I had our family's worst case of the stomach flu a couple of months ago…

@Ian, Rachel, Elanee, and Nicolas: Thank you for praying for her. She is doing better and has been able to keep down some food.

@Rachel: Bethany says "Thank You". No, I don't think she is dehadrayted…she has been drinking a lot and she has kept some of it done. Right now she is trying Orange Juice and Salt drink which is supposed to help her stomach.

Carissa- good! :) Thanks for passing her a massage :) I'm glad she's able to drink, although I think if I drank salt water….. yuck :P

Could everyone please be praying for my brother Evan and I as we are going to be playing a piano duet on Friday at the Christian Heritage Conference. Please pray that God would give our minds clarity to remember the piece, our nerves peace to relax and enjoy the time together, and our fingers accuracy to play to God's glory.

On Saturday I'm playing in eight different songs for a recital (including two piano accompaniments {I've never done that kind of accompaniment before}, a violin duet and violin solo) and on Monday I have a piano solo.
I'm slightly overwhelmed. :)

Oh wow! I love playing when I'm overwhelmed. I just don't love it till after it's done. :P You'll do great!! Just keep your focus on God (and don't forget to focus on the music :)

Hey all, I will not be on Memverse for the next several days, as our family is going on a vacation. We have finally gotten over our colds and so Taylor is comparatively safe and we have brought him back home for the time being. I say "comparatively" because there's always the possibility of one or two germs (figuratively speaking) left behind. Anyway, please keep him in prayer.

@Emily: Wow, that does sound overwhelming! Eight songs! :O I've had four songs (solos) at one recital before, so I kind of know how you feel. I'll be praying for you!

Please pray, I have a violin recital this afternoon. Im really nervous and feel like I don't know the piece well enough.

Good. I played it perfectly except one part when I restarted the same part instead of going on.

It actually wasn't that bad, PTL! :) I messed up a few times, but nothing that bad. (mainly not playing in tune!! grr!:) =D

@All: Please be praying for us. Bethany's surgery is this coming Monday and David has the stomach flu again. Please pray that we would not all catch it and that Bethany's surgery can go as planned.

Carissa, you guys should look into taking activated charcoal for protection against the flu… Eden had the flu recently and we all took that and no one else got sick.

What is that? We use Orange Juice and Salt.

It's like charcoal! but it's in capsule form… my mom found out about it.

Okay…I'll have to check it out.
