I have been praying for the tornado victims as well. I am praising the Lord that our friends were not affected it by it!

Carissa – So am I! We have friends down there who I think were just a few hours away from where the tornado hit.

Hey everybody - please pray for my grandpa as he will be traveling to Indiana tomorrow to visit his sister who has cancer. They don't know how many days she has left so please be in prayer for everyone in the family. Thanks

If everyone could pray for the refugees from Boy Scouts of America. Recently, BSA changed their policies to allow homosexuals to join troops. Troop 78, which my brothers are in, and many others in the nation, are going to dissolve and they're trying to come up with a new alternative. A bunch of scout leaders are getting together next month to talk about it.
Also, my mom asked if I would post on here a request that you would pray that our family would just make Jesus the number-one priority in our lives.

You can be praying…my oldest brother and another young man in our Church is doing some open air preaching this evening at the plaza in KC. Please pray that they would have many opportunities to share Christ!

I'd like to request prayer for my piano recital this evening. I think I'm ready, but I probably could have used some more time to prepare. I'm playing the second movement (Scherzo) of Chopin's Sonata in B Flat Minor at the beginning, and my own composition at the end.

I'll be praying for you and the others. Sarah also needs prayer, she has a recital in a few hours and feels unprepared.

Bethany(Sarah) & Matthew: how did it go?

It went pretty well. Mostly what I was worried about was forgetting the part of my composition that I had just composed on Friday. I did have it finished, but my teacher wanted me to change it and gave me some ideas. Thankfully, I remembered everything.

Seems like everyone is having recitals right now! :)
I'd like to ask prayer for our recital….I'm felling pretty confident on one of my songs, but the other one I have trouble staying in time….140 MM and then switching to 170 MM.
I also am the lead pianist for a group piece that we're playing…with about 30 violins and some other people on keyboards….(it's a round song too, so that complicates things!)
Please pray that I won't mess up my timings and that I'll play my songs correctly and to God's glory! :)

Thank you, Emily and Madi! :) I really appreciate it! I'm feeling much better today, but it still hurts some, especially when I'm sitting down for longer periods of time. I think it has something to do with all my sitting down from BB studying :)

And in answer to your question, Emily - it went well! :) My 2 brothers played their pieces well, and my piece overall went fine, except for when I messed up a few times on my loonnngg piece! :( I knew it pretty well, but I think what got me messed up was, right near the middle of my playing, a HUGE crash of thunder (the loudest I've ever heard…) Interrupted me :(

We have a big storm coming, pray that everyone stays safe. :)

We had soooo much rain last week! It rained almost every day… now it's HOT :P

Lol yeah I mean like possible 100 mile per hour winds and tornadoes and stuff. :O :) lol

I've been posting quite a few prayer requests here lately….hope that's okay! :D

I'd like to ask prayer for a young man (i don't know him personally) that was paralyzed the other day from the chest down. (he can use his arms) We had a pretty strong storm a couple days ago and he was driving in his car and a tree fell onto it and…. :(
He's having surgery today (10 am). Please pray for a miracle to happen!

Pray for my finger…I smashed it while "playing" the piano and I have a recital on Tuesday and I'm playing in my graduation ceremony next Saturday…

Hi everyone.
Lets remember those in prayer that were involved in the plane crash today (Ohio), and their families.

What happened!!?

Yeah, I didn't hear about that.

From what I heard, at an airplane trick show in Ohio, a stunt plane was flying with someone on one of the wings, and when the plane turned upside down, something went wrong and it crashed into the ground. :(

No, both people ( the pilot and stunt person) were killed. :( I hope they knew The Lord!

That is so sad! I watched the footage, and o-o-o-oh…
The flames would pretty cool-looking, if they were CGI, but they're real!!! So they're sad and scary instead. O-o-o-oh…that's really sad.

Definitely praying. That is SO sad. Also some friends of ours basement flooded last night and their electricity still isn't on, not supposed to go on till Monday. With that said, however ours was not going to come on till Sunday night. (church was canceled tonight)

I would appreciate prayer as I tripped and fell on some steps earlier today and hurt myself pretty badly. My youngest brother is also feeling sick to his stomach, so prayer for him would be appreciated as well.

Please pray for my friends Nathan and Kyle from AZ and their family. They are traveling up to Utah to attend a Mormon pageant and witness there. Pray that God would guide their words and open the hearts of whomever they witness to.
