So how was your week?

Pretty well. I was encouraged in the Lord a lot this week. The more I read Scripture and pray, the more I realize of how much I have to have Christ. It's only through HIM, that I accomplish anything. Christ is to be our one and only passion in life! I'm praying for that, but not as urgently as I should.

As you said, pretty well. Though, with trying to re-adjust to the time change, I was only able to get up on time once this week. :( Hopefully I'll get back into my normal routine soon.
Recently, I have been learning a lot from the lives' of the kings of Israel and Judah in 2 Chronicles. It has been interesting as I study each chapter in my Bible reading – seeing who sought the Lord and who didn't, who started out right in the beginning, but forsook the ways of the Lord in the end, etc. And also learning from the decisions that they made, and how it can apply to my own life; being often reminded to seek the God at all times, and follow Him wholeheartedly, refusing to be deceived by the devil's schemes and lies.

A clip that I heard by Paul Washer, where he said this – "don't make your goal in life to be useful to God (which, as a side note, he wasn't saying that was a bad thing…), but let your goal instead be to follow hard after Christ!" I thought that was very good.

I started a prayer journal this week! I'm excited about that!

Oh, that's exciting! What is the format (for example, is it a prayer journal where you write down requests and how they are answered, or do you just record some of your prayers down in it, etc.)?

Well, I'll write down requests, and then how my pray is going each day…what the Lord is teaching me through prayer, and such. Basically, it's a journal…just for prayer. I can explain it better in talking, not typing.

Okay, that makes sense – well, I'm very happy for you! I have found having a prayer journal so encouraging to look back through and see how faithful God has been in answering my prayers! It is such a blessing.

Yes, really! I'm glad I could make you excited :-) And, remember, write back whenever you want to/have time to – I've soooooo missed getting your letters :( But, take your time…remember, there's not pressure on writing it fast.

I'll try to take my time writing back – I think it will be harder to write less frequently, because I sooo enjoy getting your letters and sending them! :D
