Prayer Requests

I would like to request prayer for our family's health. We are going through a mild case of sickness right now and we definitely don't want Taylor to get it.
Also, starting Monday I will be at church every morning leading the music portion of our Vacation Bible School. This is my third year doing it, but I still feel a bit nervous. Please pray that I will do well.

That can make you nervous! I helped lead music for several years at our church's VBS, so I know how you feel. :) Just make sure you're doing your best for God's glory and praise and He will take care of the rest!

Hey guys, can you please pray for my brother? He woke up with a 102.4 degree fever, and he is very sleepy. His fever went down to 101.7 earlier, but that still is kinda high. Please pray that he gets better and that none of us catch it. Thanks!

Update: Our VBS week went great! I am not alone in my opinion that it was our church's best year yet. We are going to leave in a few minutes to the final presentation!

Thanks Emily! My brother went to the doctor today, and we found out that he has hand, foot, and mouth disease. He is doing much better now, but he's still sick.

Wow so I was wondering…. What exactly is hand, foot and mouth desease?

Hand foot and mouth disease is a disease that causes big ulcers in your mouth and throat, and I think ulcers on your hands and feet. He hasn't had anything on his hands and feet though, so I don't know what to call them.

BTW, Thanks you all for praying! After five days his fever has finally broke! He still is kinda sick, but he is recovering.

Yeah an 102 fever would make u pretty sick! Lol

He was actually at a 103 degree fever several times, so it was no fun for him.

Mrs. J. is doing amazing! they removed her trache, and although they are still using the G-tube, she can do some swallowing as well. There expecting to send her home in another week. The family is really excited because she's been down at the hospital for over a month now, and the closest good hospital to us (the one that she's at) is around five hours away, so they haven't been able to see her a lot. Keep praying for her recovery, it's going to be long and hard.

@All: If you could please be praying for a lady in our church. She has cancer and it is really bad now. She is in lots of pain and has trouble breathing. She is having tests done right now. Please be praying for her and her husband.

Mrs. J. went home yesterday! The only bad thing, is that she lost her swallowing again, the flap at the back of her throat isn't working. And so she's still being fed through a G-tube. Although it's great having her home, she isn't out of danger yet, and they are worried that she could still die anytime. It's a good reminder of how frail life is, but please keep praying.

I'll keep praying.

Hey guys, I need prayer right now for one of my brothers, Joseph. He is in a lot of pain and the doctors think he has appendicitis. We are praying that he does not need surgery, and that his pain will go away. Please also pray for my mom. She is with him right now at the hospital. My dad is working on a sermon for tomorrow, and my older brother and I are preparing to leave the state at 5 a.m. tomorrow morning. Please pray for Joseph and our family. I'll try to keep y'all updated, but I probably won't have internet for the next two weeks while my brother and I are in Colorado. And today is Joseph's birthday. Kinda stinks that he has to be in the hospital. :(
