Memverse Meeting

I know this has been suggested, but it would be really cool if all the Memversers who make it to Nationals could meet somewhere. Maybe it could be in a certain place in the hotel in between events… suggestions anyone??

I think we should meet on Wednesday in the convention center part right when you come out of the hallway…and then if need be we could move somewhere else.

that's what I was thinking too… We'd probably have to make it after registration closes though, to make sure everyone is there :) But also, what if people want to do some last minute studying before prelims?

I was kidding about that. I just meant that it wouldn't really make too much sense to have a Memverse meeting if no one from Memverse is there. :) I think the Memversers have a pretty good chance, though, thanks to all the quizzes and stuff! :)

We had a little Memverse meeting at our Bible Bee Locals in the Family Fun Area yesterday; that was a lot of fun! :) Maybe those of us who go to Nationals could wear name tags with our Memverse usernames. :)

You don't remember!!! Yes, it was at 2011 nationals! It was after one of the challenge rounds. I went up to you and was like "are you SavedByGrace on Memverse?" And you didn't say anything!!! Yeah….it was really awkward!!!!

Good idea! Hey, we could all make our own Memverse nametags, and just wear two (the one we make, and the regular nametag given to us at Nats). I might do that…….what do you think?

How did you design it…or I should say, what did you put on it?

@Dani: Actually, I was just planning on making one by hand.
I'm going to use plain construction paper (or some other kind of strong paper), about the size of a 3"x5" card, and….probably just write my Memverse name, and who knows what else! And then attach it to a nametag holder I still have from a previous local Bee.
@Anyone: What exactly should we write? I mean, should we all have the same format on our nametags?

I don't know…I was wondering the same thing…it definitely has to have our Memverse username on it!
