I am actually sad because I am getting braces today (I have had them before :(..) And I am REALLY nervous about how I will do on the oral round when I got braces 4 days ago…… I really don't like braces anyway :P!

I was going to have braces before locals but my mom delayed them to after so I could do my oral round.

@Bethany: I found chapter 3 the hardest to memorize….I don't know why really…..I too, realized that I have a lot of studying left to do.
No, I don't think I'll be able to make it, as that is the evening before Locals, and I doubt Christian or Nicolas will be there either :( All right, I'm going now :)

Oh, dear. I hope chapter 3 isn't the hardest to memorize. I think why I missed so many on the junior test, was because I don't have the full book memorized yet.

She didn't tell me, but I figured I'd come on anyway, since I was quite pleased with how I did. :}

I only got 16 wrong, which gave me a score of 92%! I was very surprised that I did that well. I honestly haven't been putting a terribly high priority on the Bible Bee until just this last week or so, so I was afraid I wouldn't do too well.

So…yeah, I'm pretty happy. But I do still feel like I have a lot to do before contest day. I still need to practice a lot of the cross-references and Greek words, as well as memorize 1 John 5.

But at least this lets me know that I'm better prepared than I thought I was! :D

@ Bethany: There were a few questions I just didn't know, and those were usually cross-references, where I had to make an educated guess. Some questions about Chapter 5 were harder as well, just because I haven't memorized it yet. The test did challenge me though; it wasn't like it was easy. There were several questions I had to think through for a while.

I don't mean that I haven't studied much at all throughout the summer. I've just been really busy with two jobs, so I could only do the Sword Study in the morning and then occasionally memorize a couple of verses. Only these last couple of weeks have I really stepped it up by compiling all of the cross-references and Greek words, testing myself on the speed of my recitations, and purposefully memorizing 1 John.

@ Rachel: Next year will be my last year, as I will turn 18 next September. ;)
