The reason I brought you guys here is because we needed to hide long enough, so that I could think up a plan to defeat those aliens. turns to Carissa We can send a message from the ship, but it won't be able to go very far. That's the only part of the ship that I know wasn't complete.

That could be a problem. suddenly closes eyes, then opens them again after about 45 seconds That's it! I have a pack of rockets in my backpack. We can attach one to a note in a bottle, and it should fly long enough to reach Earth.
OOC: In case you're wondering why I closed my eyes, that's what I do in real life when I'm thinking.

Hey guys. Look. Ian, I hate to say this, but you and me aren't the only ones who've found this planet. On the other side, a group of German renegades have formed a base where they plan to use the resources of this planet to fund an attack on the US. They're pretty much Nazis, and hope to initiate the Third Reich that Hitler spoke about. I found this out from a tablet I found in my wrecked base. One of the renegades must have dropped it in the scuffle. I sent a message to my people on Earth, who should be sending reinforcements.
