YES!!! THAT REALLY CONFUSED ME!!!!!!

BTW we should be carful what we say....what if there is a bee in HI ??? We don't want them to se what the passages are!!!!We hosted one there before :P! So don't say to much about the questions :)! I also thought the written test was WAY harder then the other years! I usually finish with a whole bunch of time but this year I finished with only 10 mis left :(! The written was fun though :)! I got second in our bee :)!After the bee our host gave each contestant their scores and I was only a few points behind first place :)! Our Bee was SO much fun :)!!!

I did hear that from the contestants…. I wonder how much of that is due to the translation differences (i.e. not wanting to give any translation an advantage, so wording it in a way that would not sound like any one translation), or if it's mostly because of wanting to make the written test super hard to balance out the oral round.

I didn't like anything about the written test except one of the question's answer options was funny but I can't says it here now…..

Hmm… There wasn't much to balance out regarding the oral round. By making it harder, the Bible Bee based qualification even more on written performance. In my opinion, last year's test was the perfect combination of ease and difficulty. It let those who didn't study as well get many questions and allowed those who did to shine. :)

Still, my knowledge of the test is just hear-say. I wasn't able to compete this year (being at college). I can't help but feel a little sad today. :(

They did seem to make it really different than usual, re-worded wise. I feel like I didn't study enough now :(

I am enjoying it very much. I am learning a lot and am so glad that everyone at my college loves God and tries to serve Him. It is great that there is no peer-pressure or anything of the sort at such places as Harvard and Yale. :)

I was trying to be brave at first but when 30 minutes were gone and I was on like question 75 I was kind of upset.

Yeah… They do that a bit every year. Speaking of which, I can never make quiz questions as hard as Mrs. McMahan's though :) If anyone can write questions like those, it'll help people studying for Nationals.

I actually kind of like the quiz questions, because they throw everybody, and they make you think about the verses. But I agree they're tough.

Another thing I remembered last night and then did before it was too late, is to read all the context for the memory passages, because there are usually a few questions on it…

I did my best, and the results are up to the Lord now!

That was the one! I did not like that question because I didn't know if the people who wrote it were Calvinistic or not!! I am SO glad they took that question off.

I found it comical, (I don't if anyone else would though) :) the one that said had an option for a questions about Josiah like, 'his evil grandma killed his brother and rules as an evil queen' or something like that. Lol. I don't no why I though that was so funny. :)
