That was a confusing question, and I'm not even sure if I answered it. I skipped about four questions.

That's propitiation. I don't remember if I got it right on the test, but my Dad (who's a pastor) was just talking about it.

I got first in Juniors! :) I think the test was super hard though. I know my score but am not allowed to share it.

Yeah everyone so far said that that was the hardest test the Bible Bee people have ever made……

@Ian: For future reference, you should NEVER skip a question!!!!! Even if you have no idea, if you put a random answer down, you have 25% chance of getting it right, whereas if you put no answer down, you have 0% chance of getting it right!!

K, I'm back! I thought we were going, but my dad is going yakkety yakkety yak!!!! This is my first year in Jrs. So I don't know how difficult it was compared to last year's. it was more difficult for me than the Primary test, definitely!!!

Good job! Yeah, when the Juniors came in from their written exam (I did oral first) they were all saying "That test was soooo hard!!!" and my heart sank… :P It wasn't quite as hard as they made it out to be though.

I thought they weren't supposed to tell you anything about the test before you took it.

Does "that test was hard" really count? Especially when they were in a different age division? :) Anyway, I did want them to elaborate but I knew better than to prod. :P

This morning, Dani and I got up at 6:45 to take the Junior's test that everybody on here put together; it was really good! It was nice to have the information fresh in my mind!

Yeah. I think if you delved down deep into the roots of some of the questions, you could find the connection to 1 John, but then again that would take waaay too much time. :)

At our Bee we weren't even allowed to make contact with the Juniors until after both of the rounds.

Really? Interesting. At our Bee they weren't very strict. Some of the runners unknowingly took some contestants that had already been orally quizzed back into the room with the rest of them waiting… They were like "I'm not supposed to be in here!! I don't want to be disqualified!" Thankfully that didn't happen to me.

I know :) I just finished in time.

I thought the written was a lot easier…

I had ~2 minutes left. :\ The neat thing about it though, is that I was behind for much of the test (I know because I had a stopwatch with me) and I SO did not want to have to fill in bubbles randomly at the end. So I offered up a short prayer that God would help me speed up and finish, and He did! PTL!

Yeah, since my dad is the volunteer coordinator, he's always very specific with the volunteers about the integrity of the contest!

What makes you think it was easy?

What was your favorite part of the Bee? Mine had to be when I had the tie-breaker rounds against Ben Watt.

I also liked having all the Greek… It's so much easier than cross references…

I wish I knew my score. :( I'm pretty sure I got a 300 on Orals though. I could actually see the score that my Recording Judge was writing down, although I wasn't looking all the time. I have no idea what I got on written (maybe somewhere in the range of 30-50 wrong?), but I'm not very optimistic.

My favorite part of BB was the final challenge… Even though nobody went down…

@Sarah I liked the test because of the Greek… What do you think the Nationals book/passage will be?

We didn't have a final round. I think my favorite part was when I was called up as the 1st place winner. :) Though I also did enjoy the fellowship tremendously.

Who here thinks they've got a chance at Nationals? :)
