What to talk about???

How many verses do you have memorized?

:) Uh, let's see… Somewhere around 220 I think. I've hit a rough spot lately. How about you?

I finally just finished my memorization session. I haven't done that in like forever. :( I reset my schedule and I'm planning to make it a habit to review my verses daily from now on.

That's great you were able to get through it all.

Yeah, well, it helped that I was able to reset it. I had over a thousand verses backed up and I didn't really feel like going through them all. Now comes the hard part… Staying on it for the next couple of months! Because once so many verses get backed up, even if I reset them, it's a matter of days before they are all upon me again.

@Matthew – Well, isn't it a good song to get stuck in your head? It's stuck in my head right now, and I like it! :) BTW, I finished writing out my arrangement for the song!! This is the first hymn that I have officially arranged and written out – and I'm excited!! :)

I'm not really sure of which comment in this whole conversation to quote, but... @Ian & @Carissa: I have a few ideas for songs that we might convince Carissa to listen to... "Blessings" by Laura Story, "Untitled Hymn" by Chris Rice, "I Can Only Imagine" by MercyMe, or "Worn" by Tenth Avenue North. I don't really consider these songs as rock or pop style. They are definitely contemporary, but @Carissa, if you like any contemporary songs, you'll like these. BTW all of the songs that I mentioned are favorites of mine. The only thing is I'm not sure how you would find them...

Even if you don't like contemporary music, I would suggest "Untitled Hymn". I think the only reason it's classified as contemporary is because it was written recently.

Okay, are you happy now…I listened to some of it. I thought that if that guy hadn't been singing it would have sounded nice! I didn't care for his singing. And I didn't like all of it's lyrics and for some reason that tune was familiar already…

Okay, an OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT. horns blow a fanfare

I was hoping it wouldn't have to come to this, but I can't see a way around it. I wanted to try to remain active on Memverse for as long as possible during the Nationals season, but already it's looking like I'm going to have to leave. I've been getting quite far behind on my verses, and basically the only thing that I'm able to take out of my schedule in order to get back on track is Memverse. It's one of the best parts of my day, but unfortunately, it is also one of the least necessary. I REALLY wish there were a way for me to stay on Memverse, but I can't find one. I won't be gone completely, but I will be on considerably less. I hope y'all don't miss me too much, but even if you do, I can't really do much about that. :P So, this is my official goodbye. See you all later–hopefully at Nationals!! :D
