Bye Rachel!

Nathan- I know one is the Raven, but I'm not sure what the other one was. Now I'm really curious, and want to check. :)

Okay, I found out that there are five more stories besides The Raven I'll have to read by him.

To Helen
Sonnet-To Science
To My Mother
Annabel Lee
and The Purloined Letter.

Looks like The Tell-Tale Heart isn't in there.

Edgar Allan Poe is called "The father of the modern detective story." Yeah; if you like detective stories, you'll love "The Purloined Letter." But he's also known for horror, so you have to be careful. If you're using a Christian curriculum, I'm sure you have nothing to worry about, though.

If you're interested in reading/listening to "The Tell-tale Heart", here is an edited version (so the inappropriate parts are taken out):

Don't feel the need to read it if you don't want to, but if you do, let me know what you think!

I'd really like if you wrote me a letter :) :) And then have the Martin's give it to me at nationals…and if you do just include your address that way I can write you :)

@Pua: Because of the books.

I should probably know better than to do this, but do you have objections to the material in the book? Magic perhaps? :)

About half. I really want to see all of it though. I have read the movie novelization though (like, 20 times) , so I know everything that happened.

I've been doing well. I have a big research paper that I have to write. It's probably going to be the biggest thing I write this year.

Um… if you mean the message was good, then I'm not sure. I'm not good at taking stories apart and finding the message in it.

Sam- Did you see the first half, the last half, or just part of the middle?
