Ian R.2
Huh?
biblebee
You're joining the rebellion on SC#5!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ian R.2
Hey! I said bye, right?
2 Corinthians 5:17
Bye Cari! :( hugs
biblebee
But it's on the next page!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Okay….I've got to go now. I'm might be back soon…we'll see….
Ian R.2
Bye Carissa!
biblebee
sends you lots of hugs
Ian R.2
I didn't mean for it to go to the next page.
2 Corinthians 5:17
receives hugs Bye! :(
Nathan Wright: Impersonator Hunter
@Ian~ Have you read any of Edgar Allan Poe's works?
biblebee
It's not anymore.
Ian R.2
No, but I will read one or two in my Literature curriculum soon.
Ian R.2
Someone's been deleting a lot of posts. :)
Nathan Wright: Impersonator Hunter
@Ian~ If you like hip hop, I made a "rap" version of one of his poems… with only bells and drums!
Ian R.2
Lol! That was awesome! :)
Nathan Wright: Impersonator Hunter
Thank you very much! Just curious; do you know what stories by him you'll be reading? "The Tell-tale Heart" is likely to be one of them.
2 Corinthians 5:17
I have to go now…bye.
biblebee
I have been deleting a lot of posts! It was my only way….cause y'all wouldn't listen to Sam or me!
Bye Rachel :( sends you lots of hugs
EDIT: I think Sam left….
Ian R.2
Bye Rachel!
Nathan- I know one is the Raven, but I'm not sure what the other one was. Now I'm really curious, and want to check. :)
Ian R.2
Okay, I found out that there are five more stories besides The Raven I'll have to read by him.
To Helen
Sonnet-To Science
To My Mother
Annabel Lee
and The Purloined Letter.
Looks like The Tell-Tale Heart isn't in there.
Nathan Wright: Impersonator Hunter
Okay; thanks. I read "The Purloined Letter" and it was really good! Very deep detective story! Haven't read any of the others.
Ian R.2
Now I'm excited! I like detectives stories! :)
Sarah B.
Why is it so important to stay on page 300 in SC#5? I don’t get it!!!
Ian R.2
Me neither, but I'm not going to be part of the rebellion anymore. :P
Sarah B.
Why not?! Lol! :D
biblebee
Fine. Go to whatever page you want on there. I won't interfere anymore.
Nathan Wright: Impersonator Hunter
Edgar Allan Poe is called "The father of the modern detective story." Yeah; if you like detective stories, you'll love "The Purloined Letter." But he's also known for horror, so you have to be careful. If you're using a Christian curriculum, I'm sure you have nothing to worry about, though.
If you're interested in reading/listening to "The Tell-tale Heart", here is an edited version (so the inappropriate parts are taken out):

Don't feel the need to read it if you don't want to, but if you do, let me know what you think!
Ian R.2
I don't know. Maybe the idea of being part of something rebellious doesn't appeal to me. :)
Sarah B.
Thanks Carissa! That’s so sweet of you! :)
(I hope you don’t mind if I still write you a letter….JK)lol!
Hiruko Kagetane
Unless if you're being oppressed by the Empire.
Sarah B.
Your??? The Empire??
Ian R.2
Yeah, maybe that. :)
biblebee
quadruple facedesk
I'd really like if you wrote me a letter :) :) And then have the Martin's give it to me at nationals…and if you do just include your address that way I can write you :)
Sarah B.
Right! I’ll include my address! :)
@Ian: Just so you know the “rebellion” is a joke (kinda)! (just kinda) JK! lol!
biblebee
Good! :)
Sarah B.
Bye (for the night)! :)
biblebee
Bye Sarah B. :(
Ian R.2
Bye Sarah!
Nathan- Creepy!
biblebee
Sooooooooooooooooooooooo…………………
Ian R.2
How have you been today?
Hiruko Kagetane
Epic, as usual.
Ian R.2
Lol! BTW, how much of the first Spider Man movie did you see?
Andrew
@Pua: Because of the books.
I should probably know better than to do this, but do you have objections to the material in the book? Magic perhaps? :)
biblebee
Good :) You?
Nathan Wright: Impersonator Hunter
Ian: Agreed. But did you think it was a good story, with a good moral?
Hiruko Kagetane
About half. I really want to see all of it though. I have read the movie novelization though (like, 20 times) , so I know everything that happened.
Ian R.2
I've been doing well. I have a big research paper that I have to write. It's probably going to be the biggest thing I write this year.
biblebee
Do you like writing research papers? What is it going to be about?
Ian R.2
Um… if you mean the message was good, then I'm not sure. I'm not good at taking stories apart and finding the message in it.
Sam- Did you see the first half, the last half, or just part of the middle?
