Hey…my 7 year old brother hasn't been hungry all day, his stomach has been hurting, and he just threw up (and our mom isn't home presently). Please pray that this would just be a 24 hr. bug, and that the rest of us wouldn't catch it. Because I'm sure you all know how bad it is to catch stomach flu in a big family - especially with a three week old baby. Thanks!

Update on Marco Kauffman….

^cries^ I'm reposting the Facebook update about him:

Yesterday God came and flooded us with peace.
Even hope.

This morning the test results came back. We are choosing to bless God and let go of our dear Marco, for it seems God is calling him to Himself. Words fail, but through our pain and tears, we bless God.
We worship Him.

While we certainly would not have written the story this way, we know God is the Master Author, and He makes no mistakes. And in light of eternity, we know this parting will be only a moment in time. Soon we will all be gathered around the throne of God, together forever more, worshiping our perfect and holy Lord.
With Marco.

We need your prayers now more than ever. For God's supporting hand to carry us through this valley of the shadow of death. For wisdom and grace. For continued forgiveness and peace. For the ability to rest in God's perfection.
To see through eternity's eyes.

Thanks! I'm almost afraid to go to bed tonight, because last time we caught the flu, I was the one who started it, and it was in the middle of the night. :-/

3 of my brothers,my sister and mom got it…. :( I'm hoping the rest of us don't! shudders I know the feeling! It seems to hit at night!

An update on Marcos (I hope you don't mind I posted this, Rachel). At 12:52 today Marcos went to be with the Lord. Please pray for his wife and unborn child and also for all their family and friends.

My heart is full of sadness, yet I'm glad that he is free from suffering…in a land where God will wipe away his tears!

That is so sad…but praise the Lord that he is no longer in pain - he now sees our Savior face to face!
I will continue to pray for his family. Do you know when the funeral is?

I feel really weird posting this when such a serious subject was just posted, but I have a cold and just haven't been feeling well the last few days. I have some people that really want to spend time with me over the next couple of days and I'd like to be feeling better if it's God's will. Thanks guys!

Thank you so much for praying for me! Our family has been going through it, and I was on the tail end of it all. I feel so much better this morning, which is good cause I still need to finish making a gift and wrap the others! :D
