Super big congratulations Madi. I'm still jumping up and down excited for you. I'll keep you in my prayers…. And thoughts. It's amazing to me that all my friends are growing up and getting married like all at once….it's such a fun time of life.

Our friend's mom, who had the stroke, is still living, but fading slowly. The other grandparents are not believers, so this has been a great witness to them. But the family is having a rough time- they are in the house literally all the time. They haven't been out really since Thanksgiving. So please keep praying for them!

Caught the stomach flu, only threw up once…so far…
Haha, yeah…so last night - or more like this morning - at 12:15, I threw up…and it was so bad, it was even coming out of my nose. (That was pleasant) So, I'm feeling kind of…miserable today…can't eat anything, my body is very weak, etc. etc. I would really appreciate prayer, because well, obviously, stomach flu is awful, but also because tomorrow we're having a New Year's Eve party at our house…and Dad really doesn't want to cancel it (so he just put up a forewarning to all those planning on coming :P)…so yeah. :) :-/

I too, have a prayer request concerning sickness. :(
Our family is going through the flu (not the throwing up kind, the one that lasts several days :P ) Prayers would be appreciated, 5 out of 10 aren't feeling well, including myself.

O.k. You got me… Of course not all my friends are getting married at once, but it seems like alot of them are either in process, or have a date. I can think of about 10-15 friends that are in relationships at present, and then my sister just got married in Oct, so I guess my reticular activating system for marriage has been turned on, (which is a really bad thing, cause I don't need to be thinking about marriage right now:)

I have a prayer request…
The Lord has seemed to open a door for me to do something and I am struggling with whether or not I should take that step (I feel unqualified–and somewhat silly about myself when I don't feel super knowledgeable in an area :P )… I don't think anything bad will come out of not taking that step, but a lot of amazing things could happen if I did take. So I'm going back and forth with myself and totally at a loss as to what I should do about it and if it is the Lord's will. I have been praying about it for days and I seem to think that the Lord might leading me in the direction of taking that step, but I'm not crystal clear certain about it, so the silly thoughts of "ruining my reputation" (said in sarcasm) keep pounding me in the head.
Please be praying that I make the right decision here! Thank you!

Not the typical prayer request, but could you guys be praying that I earn enough money for a bike, ($940 with the part that i need for the cycling program, plus water bottle rack, clothing, gloves, ect., totaling over $1,000.) I really want to do this program but there is not much I can do to earn money. Also, does anyone have any ideas for earning money? I already do pet sitting, odd jobs around the house( cleaning, yard work) and am doing a candy fundraiser. Thanks.

I also have a kinda unusual prayer request. My youth group is working on a video for snow camp (which is in 25 days), and I'm in charge of writing the plot. Please pray that I'm able to think up stuff fast enough, and that we're able to get this video made on time.

This is a prayer request/announcement that I decided to put on here, so it wouldn't be buried in Social Chatting or something.

I've decided to remove myself from Memverse to a degree, for a few months. I'm really far behind in schoolwork because of BB and helping Mom with Mercy and such, and I've also become unfaithful and lax in different responsibilities, priorities, and things. And I think that spending so much time on here hasn't helped in the least.
At the beginning of this year (like, a week ago), I thought and prayed about different things that I need and would like to accomplish this year. These are things that I have seriously committed to. So in order to keep to these things, I knew that I would also have to remove certain things. One of which is Memverse. Now, I don't plan on leaving forever, as I said. I'll still come on now and then, but only for small amounts of time, and to check on the more important things - to post/pray for prayer requests, keep up my RP training, maybe a theology discussion. But until I catch up a good deal (if not completely) in school, can get back into faithfully carrying out my duties and responsibilities around the house, and re-manage how I use my time, I feel that withdrawling myself from here is the wisest decision for now.

So, if you could pray that I would be able to stay concentrated and diligent in schoolwork, and be faithful in the things needed done at home each day and manage my time well, that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! (Sorry, this turned out way longer than planned)
