More or less, the same thing happened to me a week or so ago. I've been saving to go to the Father/Daughter retreat for five years, and was planning to go this April. Then Vision Forum closed down and cancelled all events. That was a huge disappointment! I had nearly $1500 ready to register with! Happily Daddy came up with a great idea - he'll still spend the time with me, going out to eat around here, going to gardens, etc. (I'll pay for everything), and I'll save a lot of money! (My dad is awesome. :D)

It happened in 2011, and a lot of people are fighting it- you aren't allowed to have hybrid cats in AK without all of those things- however, until they change that law, I think I may have found another, similar kind of cat, but one that is a purebred domestic cat :)

I've got another prayer request- I've had a lot of health issues multiply in the last couple of days. An allergy I never even knew I had before this trip has been getting worse and worse, and there's nothing we can do about it since we're staying in other people's houses. I've been sick for the last couple of days, and my mouth is in excruciating pain…

I'm praying for you! I know how hard it is to be at other peoples houses when you aren't feeling well. :P Feel sorry for you!
