Emma - someone probably added Psalm 105:3 wrong… you can submit the problem on the feedback tab on the side of your screen (or if you don't have access to that, I can do it) and just say that Psalm 105:3 ESV was added wrong. I'm not sure which ESV is closer to what BB uses though…

Mathew, I am planning on finishing my junior study and starting a senior one, do you think that will help me in the BB?

That sounds like a great idea! My friend Kerestel and his sister Alethea did that in 2012 when studying as a Junior and they did really well! :D

What did you all put in the slots for the "people in Jonah" section? I wasn't sure whether to include God or not…

No, I didn't do it last year either because of college, even though I was eligible to compete. I was really the only one in my family who has a strong desire to do the BB, so I think our family is out for good. :( I'm planning on volunteering, though.

Locals - I don't think I should take that much time off for Nats, even though I would love to volunteer there.

That's great! :D It'll be interesting to do BB from a judge/volunteer perspective as well, I'm sure! I think we'd only go to nats if I or my brother qualified…but if we do we're definitely planning on going:)

That's what I thought too at first, but my brother needed help with his Primary SS. Apparently you're not supposed to put nobles in, you're supposed to put Lord in. :)

I found Jonah, Amittai, mariners, captain, idol-regarders (2:8!), Ninevites, king, nobles, Ninevite children (who don't know their left hand from their right). I know that's too many, and I now know we're supposed to include the Lord, but anyway…

Does anyone know why ESV07 doesn't have the correct Psalm 105:3? When you go to "Add Verse" and type it in, it comes up with the same thing it says for Psalm 105:4. I had to get the ESV version. Also, which is closer to the ESV the BB uses: ESV or ESV07?

This year, we are using ESV 2011, or just the ESV on here. :)

I found a typo in my sword study!

it told me to look up verse 12-16 and there is no verse 16 in the chapter

Does anyone know if Alex will be making those weekly tests on memverse?

Does anybody find it difficult when doing the BB to do the reference test? It's hard when you have the passages, especially the really long ones in nats.

Yeah, that's pretty hard!

It may help if you uncheck the "test all references" box in your profile - then it will only give you the first verse of each passage you have, not all the middle ones as well.

I might do that.

Hello everyone! I know we all just received our BB stuff, but we would like to know if you guys have any tips on studying for the test, because that's the main thing that stumps us every year! (some of the questions on the test were quite confusing)
