Okay, to give you my thoughts on that catchy saying: “God helps those who help themselves.”

I can't find any scripture to support this saying. Some people use it to say that it is acceptable to steal.

It’s true that God doesn’t want us just sitting on our hands waiting on Him to do something for us. If we are seeking His will and doing what He wants He will bless us alright… but that does not mean we are on our own and God only pitches in once and awhile. God is in control of every part of our lives.

The Bible says, "But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness [not your own wants], and all these things shall be added to you." (Matt. 6:33)

Okay, so sorry I didn't give more details. It is definitely before that post. I would guess its more in the social chatting 1-4 groups, since it was so long ago. And I think Sam, Nicolas, Christian, Danielle and myself were in the conversation. I feel so bad though, because it is taking your time…its not a big deal, Sarah. I might ask Sam when he gets on, if he can remember what social chatting it was on.

I see that now.. Yeah except my little brothers junk keeps half the bedroom messy. Lol
My appointment went okay… My older brother broke three brackets and the Dr. was not happy seeing that was like the 4th time one of my brothers has done that.
I've had them for 2yrs now… They would have come off in a month or so, but now they are delayed 6 weeks. Did you like braces? How long did you have them?

Awww….too bad. :/ I only broke a bracket once, but I accidently swallowed it in the process. Eek! :) I had braces for 5 years, probably closer to 6 years. I don't know if you knew but I had major jaw surgery last year…I had ortho work done for almost 8 years because of all my problems. Believe me, I am happy to be done now!!

Haha…I don't think I will at the time being, I am trying to stay off sites like that for the time being… :) Maybe one day though. Right now, I just use mv and email for staying in touch with friends.

Oh I don't play much… I'm not good at it. I play sacred arrangements and have played some classical. This year for my recital I played the Sabre Dance by Khachaturian so that was cool. I've always wanted to play songs from musicals as well.

Yeah, Carissa and I do a lot of the same things… though I do enjoy studying/researching when I don't know if she cares for it. And I also like studying Chem and Trig, though I don't think she does. :) Yup, WW2 is pretty fascinating to study. Ever heard of the Uncle Eric economics curriculum?

How long have you played? I think one of my favorite pieces that I'm working on is Beethoven's 5th (heard it before?), or Rage Over a Lost Penny. They are both pretty involved pieces, so I haven't gotten very far on them yet.

I used to play flute, but I quit that a long time ago. :P Yes, I've read all the Chuck Black books… I don't care for fantasy or romance that much in books, but they were pretty neat. Have you read them?

Haha… most people don't like it, at least of people I've talked too. I really enjoy studying about hard concepts… so yeah. :) It's a very not-well-known-curriculum. :P No, it's about economics.. and he has written like 8 books, and I really like them!
