Yeah, that was what some Bible Bee-ers call "The Quizlet Scandal of 2012." It was totally unintentional, but those of us who did contribute what we remembered were scared out of our senses when we discovered that the bible bee had rules against it. :(

Just wondering...what's the passing score, for the Senior test? Just wondering what to aim for...

It really depends on how hard the test is. This year, with the comparative easiness of the test (at least compared to last year - it was very easy in my opinion but others might think differently.) - anyways, I'd say that anywhere in the 400-500s is okay. Low 400s might, or might not get you to Nats; we'll see.

Haha, no problem x) Probably everybody is going out for ice cream or something. Some competitions especially in the western part of the country are probably going on even as we sp— uh, type. I usually come on very soon after we get home, and it's hours before many others start arriving. :\

Yes, I am feeling very good about it! I was so happy while taking the test - I knew the answer to all but a few questions! Not at all what I was expecting in regards to difficulty, which was a great relief! =D

No, I don't. But I'm fairly sure it was in the 500s. :D

Okay…about the scores. This is from the rule book:
Test scores and the individuals’ local rankings will be released to contestants and their families on or before the Friday following
the Local Contest Day.

Okay, yeah, I'd seen that from the start. But then on the website, I've seen Wednesday was the day… but now I can't find the schedule where I saw that. I think maybe it was on the local microsite? But I can't find that either.

Yes, I did memorize Jonah pretty much. I didn't actually quote it but I knew every verse. Yes, it did help a lot! It also really helped to memorize the memory verses (obviously), since they had a lot of quote questions that tested how well you knew the passage. They also had a good amount of context, and I studied that a lot too! :D

Ahhh, this local Bee was the best but TOO short!!! Thanks to Everett for giving us the 20 sec per question rule :) . It worked! All 4 of us finished our test together for the first time, but only one of us placed (Senior 5th)….Not sure if I'll make it into Nationals or not, but studying Jonah for my last time in the Bee was super fun.

BTW, Matt Minica, we saw you and your clan today at FEAST :) . Congrats on placing 1st again! Sorry, we didn't get to speak to you guys today.

It seemed to go well. The test was much easier than last year and I took my time and finished it with five minutes extra. I doubt that I will get less than 500, but probably won't get much over that, either.
