@Sarah - Just told her. =) Oh, take your time with the writing… I perfectly understand about taking a long to reply + kinda forgetting. I do it way to often myself. ;) But, I'll look forward to hearing from you when you have the chance to write! =) hug
Steve W.
Yep, that's the feeling!
Yeah…. So hopefully I'll get them all done by the summer. That's great! Is Cari taking them as well? So you have like a notebook of everything that could apply to you? That's a great idea! I wish I would have done that during locals.. WOW O_o That's a ton of stuff that you've done/doing! How do you do it all???
You like 90+ weather????!! Ahhhhh! Blah, give me 70's-80's weather! 40 is cold enough to NOT study outside. lol! At night it's in the 30's which feels really cold!
Sorry for the late reply. =/ I was wanting to do it sooner.
His Servant
Hope it goes well! I'll try to not bother you too much since I know you'll be staying busy. Yes, Carissa and Amy are taking lessons with me - learning to sing in 3 part harmony. xD Well, I actually write all the stuff I'm learning from my verses on the back of my verse cards, and then the stuff I learn from Nahum, I tear pages out of notebook and put them in my Nahum binder. =) I dunno… I don't get it all done every day… it normally takes me about 2 days to get everything I should be getting done in 1 day, because it's so time consuming.
Yeahhhhh. I do. ;) I still haven't found anyone really who likes weather like that, but I really don't like cold weather at all, and like it so hot that when I go outside I instantly feel warmed. And when it's been in like the 40's, just thinking about a nice sunny day makes me wish for summer more. xD But, I like MO 90 degree weather, not AZ 90 degree weather. There is a difference, by the way. ;)
Oh no, I totally understand. It's fine. BTW, I saw your prayer request… I hope your knee gets to feeling better sooner… that's no fun. =/ I'm sorry to hear that.
Steve W.
Thanks! Oh no, you don't bother me! I'm glad to talk! Cool! I wish I could take voice lessons.. Ah, mmkay. How big is your notebook getting? I would imagine it's getting quite fat. ;)
Haha! True true… Warm weather is great! See, I don't like the cold for the cold itself… I love the cold for the hockey, snowballs, and the beauty of the snow. If you can give me that in 90's weather - Awesome!! Haha! Yes, there is… I forget which ones which… Isn't AZ weather hot and dry?
Oh thanks! =) it's never fun getting injuries… Yeah, I just need to let it heal… Hopefully before hockey season.
His Servant
Okay. :) Yeah… it's lots of fun. xD I was quite excited when my parents told me that I could start taking them! Big enough to move my stuff from a 1/2 inch binder to a 1 inch minder, because it couldn't flip the pages anymore. ;) I still have stuff on the computer that I haven't printed off, because it would take to much paper.
I see. =) I do like cold weather for ice-skating though, and how pretty the snow is… Yeah, AZ weather is hot and dry. So you basically fry when you step outside, but MO has humidity, so it doesn't seem as hot.
Yeah, it isn't. =/ When does hockey season start?
Steve W.
My brother is taking it in college so maybe I will as well when I go… Idk. That's a lot of paper… xP Ah, okay.
That's right! Carissa told me you guys like iceskating! have you been to AZ?… Wait a minute… Didn't you use to live out there?
Uhh, for me it should start the first or 2nd week of November… So it's getting close! xD
God's Maiden of Virtue
I still haven't found anyone really who likes weather like that...
You know I do. :)
His Servant
Ohhh! That's right! high-fives to Rosie XD
BTW, Rosie, you should get a letter from me tomorrow. It was to come today, but there was no mail… =)
God's Maiden of Virtue
high five xD
Oh, really? I look forward to that! I hope to maybe write you back after Nationals (in reply to your previous letter). facepalm That's why there was no mail today! That didn't dawn on me until now!
His Servant
Yup. =) Oh, take your time on the letter… I perfectly understand! Yeahh… big disappointment. I mean, who celebrates Columbus day?!
God's Maiden of Virtue
I know, right? Of course, Dad's school was off because of it, so they had some staff training today - I just completely forgot, I guess. ;)
God's Maiden of Virtue
Btw, could you let Carissa know that I sent her a message on ST? She doesn't have to respond to it if she doesn't have time, just so that she sees it. =)
His Servant
I see. :) How are your verses going? How are your brothers doing on their verses?
God's Maiden of Virtue
Christian, Nicolas, and I are all on schedule, and will Lord willing finish this week! (Nicolas will probably finish tomorrow) And Titus is hoping to finish next week. :)
The new format for Orals discomforts me majorly, as I feel very nervous reciting in front a bunch of people when I'm being scored on it, and timed (especially if I fail, struggle, blank out). But I'm praying that the Lord would help me to have all of my verses - long and short - perfected, so that I can recite with passion, confidence, and peace.
His Servant
Wonderful! You guys are doing great! I'll pray for you Rosie… I know that you are staying busy and don't have tons of time to spend on BB, but I'll pray that the Lord gives you much joy and peace while you finish preparing your verses and that His name would be glorified while you go into your oral round!
God's Maiden of Virtue
Thank you so much for your encouragement, Bethany. It means a lot to me right now…I need to head off to bed now. Have a great week - press on, sister! hugs
His Servant
You're welcome. Hope you sleep well, Rosie! Can't wait to see you in 15 days, sister! hugs back

That's how I'm feeling too…I get nervous speaking in front of crowds and I feel sure to blank out or whatnot. I'm pray for the strength of the Lord these past 2 weeks as we prepare, and for His strength on the stage! ^Sorry, for jumping in…^
His Servant
It's fine, Rachel! =) I do get nervous speaking in front of crowds, but I hope to work on knowing my verses so well these last two weeks, that even that won't mess me up. :)
His Servant
Yup! I really like ice-skating. =) Such a fun feeling of whizzing around the ice rink. :) Well, I was born in AZ, and my dad's family all lives over there, so I've been there a LOT. XD
Wow. Yeah it is! I hope your knee heals quickly! Don't hurt it any more. ;)
Steve W.
Yes!!! Ice skating is soooo fun! Give me a stick and a puck and it's even better! lol. Ah, okay… I thought Cari had told me that. Do you like it out there?
Yeah, Ikr?! The last three days has been better so hopefully it's healing. Just so it heals before hockey…lol. I won't be surprised if I injure it again during hockey tho. Thats what hockey is. facedesk
His Servant
Meh. Not really. hides I don't like dry heat… it's gotta have humidity, so you don't automatically start burning when you step outside.
Steve W.
Haha! I agree with you there… But not too much humidity like Florida summers. O_o
Seth W.

@seth and Steve - Haha. xD Well. What the weather is like there right now, no matter how much humidity, has gotta be better than what we have in MO. ;) I mean. It's not even winter yet, and I have enough blankets on my bed to feel like it. And when I got out in the morning, it feels like I need my winter coat. =/ I can must assuredly say that I'm looking forward to the warm weather in FL!
His Servant
SARAHHHHH! It was to be in place of and! Because I was addressing both of them. But whatever. I changed it….. But really.
EDIT - Let's delete our comments….
Sarah B.
Bethany! XD I was just giving you a hard time…. and oh! It was soooo funny!!! XD
but if you really want I will delete what ever you wish.
Sarah B.
Man! You really do like that hastag! I have seen you use it like four times… LOL!
Seth W.

Have I really? Maybe I use it more often than I realize. ;/
Wonders what the deleted comments were all about
Seth W.
Oh, Florida has nice weather in the fall, just not in summer (the other three seasons of the year). It's rather chilly over here too…I miss being able to step outside and soak in the heat. I get cold easily, and it cuts down my productivity. :(

Yes… :)
Oh, it was nothing. .. Bethany thinks it was a mistake, but I would probably have done the same without thinking xD
Steve W.
*Wonders what the deleted comments were all about*
You're not the only one wondering. xD
Steve W.
Hahah!! Ooooh, so that's why it takes longer to make your bed - a lot of blankets. xP
Oh come on now… You can't be saying that about FL!
2 Corinthians 5:17

May I tell them? XD
Really, it was just funny… and I happened to notice. We are making then think it's a bigger deal then it is.
His Servant
Okay. Peoples. So all that happened was when I was talking to Seth and Steve, I put a plus sign in place of the and, because I often do that. But that looks weird, and Sarah pointed that out, so I deleted it. I should have been more careful on when I use it. So it's not a big deal. ;)
MOVING ONNNNN….
Sarah B.
Hey!!! I never said it looked weird! :) I thought you were doing math…
OKAYYY… palmmouth for Bethany
Steve W.
Hahaha!!!! Oookaaay moving onnnnn lol!
Seth W.
Doesn't get why that looks funny…but I guess will take your word for it.
What are we MOVING ON too? :)

His Servant
@All - It's not a big deal. =] Really. And now we're moving onto any other conversation that is not about this. ;)
@Steve - Cooooool. XD That's awesome! I'll make sure to sign it!!
Sarah B.
What is true strength?

What is true strength?
Hm. That's a good question, Sarah. =] The joy of the Lord is true strength, Nehemiah 8:10! Also, I like 2 Corinthians 12 regarding this topic - "But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
True strength only comes from the Lord. And it's when we are broken and empty, that we can be filled with the Lord's strength and the power of the Holy Spirit. What a glorious thing we get to partake in because of God's magnificent Gospel! May we strive to live lives worthy of His calling!
Your thoughts? :)
