Audio drama auditions

Yup; it's still open! There are already two people auditioning, so I can add you to the list if you want and then choose which one of you I want for the part–and then the ones who don't get it can be in another one. When do you think you could have a three-page script finished? I'd like to get this out in early November. (Of course you'd audition before I gave you the full script.)

Here some more information on the character (I actually edited what I said about her previously and put this in): she's a villain who becomes a Christian at the end. She needs to be able to sound grim and fierce throughout most of it, then eerie and depressed during one scene, then overjoyed at the end when she gets saved. There will also be some screaming in the action sequences; the character has the personality of a screaming blonde. Until the end, she should be the kind of character that freaks you out. This character is ideally in her mid-40s, but she doesn't need to "sound" that old as long as she doesn't sound too young.

I certainly want to do it – but I've already been in two. But I would REALLY like to do this one… if the others can't. Just letting you know, if you're desperate, there's me. :D

And I can use your recorder, which is very good, and you can sort of tell me exactly how you want it done, in person.

Probably somewhere in the ballpark of three months. Several people are up for evaluation for the particular role (which hasn't been scripted yet); I'll add you to the list and you can audition when the script is ready. Thanks. :-)

That would be cool, but what I need is English with a Russian accent. I'd love to put some real Russian in there, but it would be kind of out of place (you'd have to hear it all).

Sorry Nicolas, but this needs to sound Soviet. In fact, that's pretty dirty on my part… but whatever. :-P Again, you'll see what I mean when you hear it.
