If you refrigerate onions they don't make you cry as much.

I think I just got a headache…and from that noise… facenotebook

True. But it makes it seem as though I'm giving you a fuller greeting if I say that I give you salutations as well. At least, to me it does. How do you fare on this fine (and cold) January evening?

For some reason that never works for me…

My Dad never likes having his back scratched, or massaged, or anything. He doesn't like hugs either.

But of course. I get the feeling that this is the temperament of a large percent of people in this country tonight. And, it is only supposed to get worse tomorrow. I cannot remember if I have asked before, but: what is your opinion of and disposition toward snow?

Fun if I don't have to clean up after it, and if I won't get behind on anything by being out in it, inconvenient if either of those is not the case. I particularly like sledding. We have a lovely patch of blackberries at the bottom of a good-sized hill on our property that we see how far we can sled into.

Someone told him that hugging him was like hugging a telephone pole. I think that they hug too much if they know what hugging a telephone pole is like.

My disposition toward it is very similar. And I particularly enjoy sledding as well; except our good-sized hill is usually graciously "rented" to us by our neighbor. There is a great deal of brush and bramble growing on either side of the path we take down the hill, so often we careen directly through it. Honestly though, it isn't very fun to attempt to get out of.

I am generally supportive of hugs, but I think that I shall agree with you on that one.

It did this time… It generally just gives me a ten second headache. It's probably worse this time cause I'm up late trying to work…

Yikes. Well, if it really gives you a headache, then maybe I'll agree with you that it's not something you can just "get over." That's… pretty strange, honestly. :P

Well, there is a small and not very thick strip, and past that is the woods, so usually getting out of it isn't a problem for us.

The bramble on this hill extends indefinitely on either side. Believe me, it is difficult if you manage to plow straight into it. But for someone like me, that merely makes the experience more memorable.

Your Dad is a pastor?

Wellll…..I wouldn't say quite that….
How is everyone??? It's warm again today…. sigh Our ice-brick house is evaporating and the wall has warped over so it's now a roof… :P
