Broham! Words cannot express the gratitude I hold in my heart for you! That feasting, the fighting, the fellowshipping; you have been my constant companion through all of these upon these holy Forums. I am blessed beyond compare to have such a brother as thyself! I thank you for your kind words, and hope to repay the trust placed in me by being the best Sampool -I- we can be! :)

Sam! I was looking at optional piano music…

This one would be SO cool to learn - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D5kyjnlDNZs Swordland (Main Theme) with this piano music - http://www.marioverehrer.com/sheet-music/swordland-main-theme

Though… I don't know if I'm quite that advanced. I mean, I could always drop notes in a blocked chord, or in a chord progression… I'd have to look through the music and improvise a little, I think. I dunno yet… but it's such an epic music and totally the style I would enjoy working on.

Crossing Field is a easier… and wouldn't take me near 5 months though. And, I like the other piece better… partly, because it's a lot fuller and has a more dramatic climactic middle, if you know what I mean. =)

What other ideas did you have, though? ;)

First off. Did you not look at the description for the video? The author's link to the sheet music is here:

http://sheethost.com/sheet/ci6RSp

I'm still waiting for Mr. Garrado to drop the sheets for this:

Since Barakamon is one of my favorite anime ever.

I'm working on Crossing Field, and "Guren no Yumiya" from Attack on Titan.

I saw that link, but since I don't like downloading, I decided to go with the link where the whole song was up, I guess. ;)

Coolness. I really should start on finding some new sheet music, because I haven't learned a new, un-improvised song in months. Such sadness. =/

Jut download it. Nothing'll happen to you. :P

Find something you like. That's what I do. 8 times out of 10, someone's done a piano cover and posted the sheets somewhere.

Okay. xD

I knowwwwww. That's the problem. =p I can't seem to find something that I really enjoy and want to spend time on. I like classical music, but it's so consuming and takes so much time I'd like a break from that…

Finally got around to downloading a Nintendo 64 emulator; installed Super Smash Bros 64. Not bad for the twentieth century; expected Sakurai to have a meaner slap. Was "rewarded" with PKMN punching-bag. Still think pixelated flash fan-game is cooler; miss Ganondorf.

Sent you an e-mail this afternoon. XD Hopefully you got it. ;) Also, if you want to e-mail more, you can just reply to that one, and I will definitely respond. xP Thanks for calling me on my birthday, I cannot express how much it meant to me. You're an awesome friend, Sam. ^_^

So, Sam, is there any piece of music you *really* you want me to know by June? Or shall I decide by myself?

Didn't I assign you one already?

Make it be a good one! And I might learn a few, just to surprise you… with my un-dramatic piano playing skills. ;)

Hey, dunno if anyone's told you, but your inbox is full again, so anything I try to send to you gets rejected.

Anyways, Martin and I were thinking about getting to your house around 5 tomorrow. Is that going to work? I know you said you're sick, so I don't know if that throws a wrench in things at all.

Yeah. I saw it. I was wondering how they would do the last battle, without making it a sick one upping but they did ok. Aaaaannnddd…. I didn't see Sei. Don't even know where you were talking about.

Andrew

You got to see the lower half of Sei's face, bro. Not all of him, because Sunrise likes to troll us. :P

Is that so. I don't think either of us know what your referring to. :P When does Gundam continue?

Haha, you probably experienced the exact same thing I did – sending out that mass Bible reading accountability e-mail and then immediately receiving an e-mail back from MAILER DAEMON or whoever, saying that Sam's inbox was full. =P

I really wish that the server would kind of hold messages in "stasis" and then download them when there was space, instead of flat-out rejecting them. :P

@Christian - Yup, I did. =)

@Sam - Sorry to keep bothering you about this. xP And e-mail me sometime. ;) We leave on Thursday and will be gone till the end of Sunday, so if you send too soon before then, no response will come until I get back. =) But, take your time, I know you're busy. ^ _ ^

Sam! I need your help. I'm taking an anime class at my art school, and I need ideas for characters to draw. Ideas? I was thinking maybe Asuna, but I'd like to look at some other characters as well (preferably female).

3efdb816df3c53b20fed57ee9b4779f0?s=128&d=mm

Hiruko Kagetane

@Esther - Sam would recommend Mayushi and/or Makurise from Stein's;Gate, Menma, Anaru, and Tsuruko from _Anohana, Mato and Yomi from Black Rock Shooter

I'm not helping, am I?

Welp, for someone fairly easy to draw, I'd reccomend Mato, Menma, or Mayushi (literally just noticed how each of these girls are my favorites from their respective anime and all their names start with "M"…), although China from Gundam Build Fighters is easy to draw as well. I'll post pics of each of them so you can decide. :)

Dude, have your parents gotten the Scriptorium e-mails yet? Because my dad's been sending them to both your mom and your dad… Jsyk, deadline for attendance registration is at the end of April, so there's nothing to worry about in that respect. But it's now too late to recite anything. =P

3efdb816df3c53b20fed57ee9b4779f0?s=128&d=mm

Hiruko Kagetane

My dad mentioned getting them the other day, bro. Of course we'll be there. I'm not reciting anything, though. :D

I'm watching Interstellar right now, BTW. ;)

Good, good. I thought there might be a problem, since before you said you hadn't gotten any, and I knew my dad had been sending them. And, I figured. ;) It's just gonna be a big, awesome MV social gathering for you. XD

Awesome!! Be sure to tell me what you think. =] And don't let the Internet steal too much of your attention. That movie deserves your full attention. ;)

Thanks! That's helpful. :) For some reason I can't see Mato (and when I went to the link it said 404), but of the other pics you posted I like China and Menma. I'll tell you when I pick a picture to draw!

Best movie I've ever seen. Hands down. I hesitate to say that, because it's hard to make people take it seriously when it sounds as cliche as that, but I really was more impressed with this movie than any I've ever seen before. The scope was more epic than just about anything that's ever been done before in film. (The score, by the way, was absolutely fantastic, and I think you should at least check that out, Nathan.) The acting was superb. It gripped me emotionally in ways that no movie has ever done before. I cried. Both times I watched it. And that just doesn't happen.

But the plot was incredibly deep, with awesome twists and an unbelievable resolution. The visual effects were astounding beyond description. I watched it in theaters both times I saw it, so I don't know how the visuals translate to home theaters, but I hope it's nearly as good an experience. There's just the right amount of suspense in the especially intense scenes. The overarching themes for the movie are immensely beautiful and poetic, and the ways they intersect with the plot become more amazing with every viewing.

I can hardly say enough good about it. There was some language, but it wasn't over the top, and none of it felt especially out of place or overbearing. And that's about all I could complain about, besides the fact that God is absent. It's so deep and so philosophical that it feels wrong that spirituality isn't in the picture. But He's also not outright denied, so in that sense I was okay with it. But, man… if it's possible for you to see it, see it. It's one of the most brilliant pieces of art I've ever witnessed.
