I did see a couple people on the webinar asking if they can get their registration refunded. I feel bad for Mr. Upton; that must have been hard to do.

My siblings and I have been joking that we'll have to be quarantined if we don't all take it on the same day :).

I think I understand how they can reduce the price for signing up. I was wondering how they could charge so little, but the shorter format and the electronic test will definitely reduce their costs.

He did say a couple times that it was really hard for him to make and announce the changes. Poor guy - being the spokesperson is doubly hard.

That's sad! I feel really sad for the McMahans, too. They've put all this work into making the Bible Bee so great, and now the board is making huge changes that most of us don't like.

I was also thinking of the cost to run a competition like this (plus a game show). I know their financial history was hard, but I don't know where they stand now.

Hmm, that's interesting…Daddy didn't mention it to us, either.

I'm sure they are! And I'm sure they're not making these decisions lightly, but putting a lot of thought and prayer into it, and looking at the long term goals for Bible bee.

It's not mentioned in the 2015 Summer Program Changes pdf, but it is on the website. Interesting.

I have been. And we could use the A. C. T. S. prayer model. Anyone else feel guilty for all those times when they left the A. C. T. S. prayer thing blank? Did anyone else read the sword study to themselves in Mrs. McMahan's voice? Did anyone make it through their Bible Bee years without doing an Apply section once?
