Nationals is now officially over, and I am now an alumni. :( But I treasure the memories made this week...nationals was incredible and I loved visiting with many of you and getting to know some of you even better :) Saying good bye was soooo hard. I miss you all already. Can't wait till the next time we're together. :D Blessings!

If I remember your score correctly, I'd be surprised if that score (assuming perfect orals) would have landed you any lower than about #30. Even that might be too low. ;) But yeah, we'll see… xP

As for my rank, I can actually make an educated guess and narrow it down to a range of about five, but… I could be wrong. xP

Good for you!!! But do you know anything about the Written Test? How was it this year?

Due to a glitch in the Seniors, some received our scores via email. The written test at Nationals was much like the summer one, if you took it. ;) I don't want to say too much online just in case…

No, we weren't. xP I think it was a tad harder, but not too much. :P I scored better percentage wise on the locals test.

You'd think they would have made it more than just a tad harder after people getting such good scores for Locals. It was pretty easy.

The interesting thing is that there weren't many comprehension questions (I can only think of one, and I believe that it was on the Locals test), so the hardest questions were trick questions (like the kind where you start to answer true, and then realize that it's false). There were also no memory passage context questions :(.

Haha! I'm not as optimistic as I sound :).

Wow… that's surprising. I think those are some of the hardest because if someone who hasn't made Nationals before just thinks, "Ok, study John and memorize passages," they're not going to know those ones.

Does anyone have a picture of when it was announced that Delie, Emily, Bethany, and Kyle had made it to finals?

Oh, well, I thought we started about 9:00 am, and were finished somewhere around 10:30…? Anyway. xD 4 weeks ago. Wow. wants to go back

I think we were still in testing until 11 or so… I have a picture of Courtney and I in the hotel room and the timestamp says 9:19. But yeah, about that time. xD
