Well, I was going to, but I didn't know if your parents would like that (based off of what you said about the letter).
And…our dad didn't want the cat out of the bag (so to speak) about the newsletters, since not every single person we know would be getting one - and we didn't want anyone to feel bad, if you know what I mean.
Abigail Rose
Mmkay!! :)
God's Maiden of Virtue
Sorry. :( Dad just didn't want anyone to feel bad…

@seth: We need to get yours sent out! I forgot to put your family on the list...sorry! I'll get right on that.
Hey, thanks! That'd be great. Wonders if you need an address
Steve W.
Rosie!!! xD I got it!! Thanks! Gonna read it right now!
Barachel the Buzzite of the Kindred of Ram
Hey Rosie! I have received your manilla envelope and the contents therein. I am exceedingly pleased with the images, and the newsletter appears to be interesting, though I have not yet read it. I extend my gratitude to you and your family with all sincerity.
Again, thank you, and may God be with you all.

Steve W.
Wrosie, how is your wrist doing? How did the x-ray go?

Remember when you sent that card to our family after the June 26 get-together? We wrote your address down on our address sheet. :)
God's Maiden of Virtue
The x-ray went okay. Our doctor called us on Wednesday about the results, and said that - praise God! - there is no fracture! However, my wrist is in bad condition (still don't know whether or not I might have tendonitis), and have been instructed to rest it. No problem, right? Pfft… No lifting anything over 5 lbs. and no doing anything repetitious (i.e. playing piano, working at the popcorn factory, writing [at least, going easy on that], etc. :P). She said that if I'm still having pain after four weeks, I am to see her again. Bleh. xP Other than not being allowed to play piano at all (and it driving me crazy) and always having to judge whether or not something is more than five pounds, I'm doing well. xD
Anyways…thanks for asking (and praying!). :)
Steve W.
Yes, that is a praise!! So if not a fracture is it just a pulled muscle or something? Yeah…. That's not the easiest thing to follow.
But make sure you do! I never went to see a doctor about my wrist. I just tried to not use it - you can understand how well that went (NOT). Today I still have somewhat of a week wrist. So restrain yourself from piano and anything else. ;p ^Bad girl for play piano for us. Don't ever listen to us again… Wait what?!^ lol
How is it doing school?
Oh, no problem. More then happy to. =D
God's Maiden of Virtue
We don't know exactly what it is right now…except that it might be tendonitis, of course. If I'm still having pain after 4 weeks, we'll probably have a better idea, after seeing the doctor again.
I know; I am doing my best to refrain from doing things I shouldn't. It is very hard though… :|
^Hey now! I didn't know at that point that I wasn't supposed to play! And I went easy on it! And it's not your guys' fault; you didn't make or ask me to do it - I offered to. :P^
It isn't easy to do school, as there is always a lot of writing to do. I have moved to doing it on the computer with some things, but I still have to write quite a bit. I just try to go easy, take breaks, etc. sigh
Steve W.
Mmkay. Yeah, I'm sure it is. Your sibs should offer to do everything for you so then you could just sit back and let your wrist rest. ;p
If you went easy on your wrist, then what's a hard song for you? I bet you could boss the Sabre Dance!;p
Yeah, no fun.. Do you take all BJU subjects? And watch the videos? You didn't tell me you guys visited BJU campus!! How'd ya like it? :)

Oh, right. :) Actually…would you mind telling me which address you have? We're kind of half moving, so we have two houses right now and I can't remember which return address I put. If you've already sent it it doesn't matter, but if you haven't and you have the "Bolivar" address I'll give you the other (more relevant) one.

ROSIE! Missed you so much! How is your wrist do… are you getting by? I feel so bad for youuuuu. =/ Wish I could come over or something and help you out around the house. ;)
Pictures coming your way very soon, hopefully!
God's Maiden of Virtue
Bethany! :) I've been missing you (and everybody, really) a lot lately! Trying to think about the OH scriptorium to help not miss people so much. xD
Ah, I'm getting by with my wrist, but it doesn't seem to improve. I try to stick to what they've told me not to do, but it is very hard…annoyingly so. Writing is especially tiresome (and difficult ;); I have so much school to do though, it is hard to take it easy/go in short spurts/take breaks from writing/etc. Not playing piano just about drives me crazy. :P Feels like I've had a part of me taken away. xD Just trying to do my best to "rest" it, and hope that does something.
Ahh, looking forward to that! Love pictures! =)
God's Maiden of Virtue
Them do everything for me so I could sit back and let my wrist rest? Haha! It's not that easy when you've got 5 rowdy, younger bros and a little sis, and you're the oldest daughter. :P I'm not sure I could trust them to do all of my responsibilities, let alone my school work. Lol But honestly, I do feel like this "rest" isn't too much of a "rest". Other than not playing piano, usually not lifting things over 5 pounds, and having a hard time writing, I'm not seeing much difference. ;P I'm surviving though. ;D
Hmm, a hard song for me would be like…"Prelude in G minor Op. 23 No. 5" by Rachmaninoff. I was beginning to learn that before I had to stop playing piano, and it was quite difficult. A worthy challenge - eek. xP
Haha, I don't know about that, but I would like to learn it sometime! :) Are you working on anything for piano right now?
Yes, all of my subjects are BJU. We have all of the pre-recorded videos from 3rd grade-12th grade; but we use Abeka for pre-school through 2nd. Oh, yeah! Forgot about that! Yeah, we visited back in March. I never told you because 1.) I forgot about that, 2.) Didn't know you knew of BJU very well, and 3.) I don't think we even knew you then. ;) I think we all enjoyed it a lot! We got a great tour of the whole place. Very neat to see what the campus was like and everything. :)
Do you use BJU for school at all?
Steve W.
Haha!! Yeah, I was just joking. ;p Mmhhmmm.. Not a rest - more like added work cuz you have to watch what you do.
Mmkay, cool! No, not really. Just a few sacred arrangements.
That's great! History and science are now the only courses that are BJU. Who is you favorite teacher? So I'm assuming that was your first time to visit BJU? What did you think of it? :)
God's Maiden of Virtue
My favorite teachers are Miss Lacy, Mrs. Vick, and Mr. Cancino. :) Yes, that was our first time to the BJU campus. Have you visited there before?
Btw, I posted something important on the Prayer Requests topic…I'm really going to miss everybody, but it's all for the best. :(
Work hard in school, have fun with hockey, don't hurt your knee! And keep seeking and serving Christ! :)
His Servant
Hope you get lots of school done, Rosie. =] Praying for you!
Steve W.
Mmkay. Yes, I liked Mrs. Vick. Have you had Mr. Harmon and Mrs. Ericsson?
Yes, I've been there 3 or 4 times. My parents went there and so did a lot of my cousins.
Aww.. I'll miss talking with you. But I completely understand. I actually think I need to do the same… I need to cut down on my school as well. So I think I might follow you in that decision.
Thx! I'm tryin not to!
Lord willing I will. Thanks Rosie! You are such an encouragement! =D
2 Corinthians 5:17
Rosie! Miss seeing you around on here! hugs Hope you've been doing well. =)
Steve W.
Rosie Rosie, are you ever on anymore??
God's Maiden of Virtue
@Rachel and Steve: Yes, I am back now, and glad to be - I've missed many of my friends very much! :) However, I don't plan to use the forums nearly as much as I used to. Life is busy + never dull, and time flies - trying to redeem the time as best as I can. :)
Gloria
I wish y'all had been at BB… I really want to meet y'alls…. xD
Steve W.
Rosie, are you back on??!!!!!
EDIT: oh, ;P I didn't see you said you are.. ^_^ glad ur back!
God's Maiden of Virtue
Lol, yes, I'm so very glad to be back. ;D
Leah Jessie
Welcome back, Rosie!! I'm not often on, especially at a good time for people in the States, but I hope we can chat sometime! :)
How are you doing, sister?? sends you a hug
Steve W.
Yaaay! xD glad to have Worse back! Lol ;P
God's Maiden of Virtue
big hug I've missed you so much, but have been praying hard + rejoicing with you all the time these days. God places you on my mind a lot. :)
I am overflowing, sister. God is so ridiculously good to me! :) And you? I pray you are well?
God's Maiden of Virtue

Amen! So glad to hear that you're doing well. I'm doing well also - God is so amazingly kind!!
I've been thinking of and pr@ying for you also. It's so good to hear from you, sister! Miss you! What's new in your life?
Also, about letters, I finally have a way to receive mail here, if you would prefer to do that than using email. :)

Yup! ;)
God's Maiden of Virtue
God has been answering my prayers then. :D
The newest/biggest thing going on in our lives right now is the four children the Lord brought into our home 4 months ago on August 9th. Our parents became the legal guardians on October 20th, and we are pursuing official adoption early next year. :D So our family's a bit larger, to say the least, and always something going on in the Alexander crew. ;)
Life is busy, as always, but I can say I'm glad to be alive. =D
How does your studying and work fare?
Oh, I'm so glad to hear that!! Is there some way you could get that info. to me?
Leah Jessie
How awesome!! PTL!
I can't post it here, but do you have email, Skype, or even a US phone number I could text it to?
God's Maiden of Virtue
You could email our family address, or Christian's if you don't have that. :)
Gloria
Yup! ;)Lol, oh dear. x) So I've heard all about Nationals from a bunch of friends; but what was it like for you, especially it being your first time at Nats? =)O.O it was Stevo's first time at Nats??? Really?!
Oh. I thought that he'd been there before…
Steve W.
That's great! Oh dear, I think you're the one we should be worried about getting injured, not me (you kinda missed our soccer season :P). ;) I'm doing very well! God is so good. Life is busy, as always, when you're in a large family. :) School, family life, projects, writing, going here, there, and everywhere. Never a dull moment. :)I've been doing well :) Yep, was kept busy by BB, and am now fully into hockey once again, and other than school I am still doing some hunting. ;) how about you? What's been going on in your life? Haha, good!Hey I know! It's been at least half a year since we've talked.. :/ how are you doing? Injuring yourself anymore?Wow, it has, hasn't it? Yikes! Well how have you been?! Has it been a busy year for you? Injuring myself anymore? Lol, nothing major like my wrist, thankfully. x)
Hahah! It can get a bit rough at times.. :P Yeah, how was your season this year? Was it just you and Nicolas playing, or did you have younger sibs that played, as well? Indeed it is :D I miss having a big family and all that goes with it… It's so lonely here at home now. Still playing piano? ;) And are you doing any kind of hobbies?
Sarah B.
Rosie! I got your message on Spotify! Thank you. So sorry I'm not able to reply right on there.
God's Maiden of Virtue

Do you tend to play a particular position in hockey? (Sorry if I've asked that question before - it's been a while!) Even though we came in last place (4th), soccer season was great this year!! We have an amazing coach, and because of him, I was able to improve a ton in my skills! Our team is awesome - great encouragement and team work amongst all of us (love that). Nicolas and I are the only ones in our family in the Senior league, but 7 other sibs play in lower leagues too. :)
Aw, I bet…I feel bad for Mercy now! xP How often do you get to see all your siblings? How many of you are still at home, or is it just you now?
I finished taking piano lessons this year, so I don't play nearly as much as when I had to practice for lessons. Still play stuff all the time, and try to learn some pieces here and there. Any and all pain I had when my wrist was injured is long gone. ;) What about you?
Hobbies? Letter correspondence, memorizing, listening to music - if any of those even count as hobbies… :P You?
What are you reading in your Bible right now?
God's Maiden of Virtue
Oh, I'm glad! Sorry for all the trouble it took! ;) I was meaning to share another song with you and the message be right there, but I messed it up and it posted it for any of my friends to see. facepalm At least you saw it. x)
Leah Jessie
Rosie, was your dad on G220 Radio the other day? :)
Steve W.
Hey Rosie, sorry for getting on when you were leaving! I'll have to plan on getting my timing down so it doesn't happen. :P
Do you mind me teasing you with the name "Worse" - you do deserve such a better nickname lol. I only do it because of the laughs behind the story that started it. :D ;P
God's Maiden of Virtue
So I didn't get a chance to bring it up with Dad, but Mom said that Ricky G. visited our church once and is a friend of one of the men in our church. She also said that she is pretty sure that it was Dad who was on G220 Radio recently!! Wow. Small world, girl!! O.O
God's Maiden of Virtue
Oh, it's totally fine, Steve! I found it funny that you showed up literally as I was leaving. =)
No, I don't mind the name. I can hardly keep from smiling every time I see it, remembering the funny story behind it! x)
Steve W.
Haha, yeah… Bad timing ;P
Okay, lol, thanks. :D yup!
