Disclaimer: These lyrics aren't really deep or profound, but I laughed so hard at them that I couldn't resist posting them here anyway. xD

Some of you may have heard of the YouTube series "Google Translate Sings". Basically, Malinda (who runs the channel) takes the lyrics to a song, puts it through several different languages in Google Translate, and then sings the resulting lyrics. I'm not sure what the tune is to this one, but I really like the words to the first verse:

It’s been a while since I’ve fallen in love with a new song as quickly as I have with Lauren Daigle’s latest, Trust in You, which I heard for the first time a few days ago. The music is beautiful, but the LYRICS… They are absolutely awesome. When I think of having faith in God, I have a tendency to think of faith that moves mountains, that is a factor that works great and awesome things in my life. But what about when God doesn’t move the mountains? Will I still trust and believe in Him?

This song is pretty hilarious; it was on a CD in the car we bought for our time down in the Lower 48. I only remember some of it, but the chorus goes like this: ^it's written from a little boy's perspective^

Here is a short refrain I came up with a couple years ago. I wanted to think up verses for it for a long time, but eventually I realized it sounds great on its own. The chord progression I used doesn't really lend itself to verses anyways. xD
