Hey guys, I'm pretty sure some of your have noticed this, but I just wanted to point out that we will be in Disney on Halloween. XP

Yuk! My family won't be going to the Disney part, we don't do Halloween.

Yup. That's one thing that annoys me most. Not only is it in Disney, but during Halloween. :P

When you boil it down, it's just celebrating death, satan himself, and his demons!

Today, two weeks after making it to Nats, I have reached the half-way point- 376 verses in process!

Studying for Bible Bee Nationals is like a really complicated piece of orchestra music. Nahum is the melody, the theme that everything else branches off of. As I go around learning and reviewing the verses that I have to memorize, it's like listening to each individual part practice, over and over and over again. They don't really make sense by themselves (especially the bass). After a while, as I listen to one part, I recall a small section of another part, and hear those two move in harmony with one another. I start realizing, "Oh, that's how it's supposed to sound." Then, I can start hearing multiple harmonies together. I hear them all day, even when I'm not practicing. And, please God, by the end of October, I will be able to listen to the orchestra play together in a grand performance of God's goodness!

If you want your picture to be in the National program, you need to put it up…by sometime soon, I don't know when.

My mom read some reviews on the Holy Land Experience that were saying that it was really unbiblical, gaudy, and cheesy. So we might not be going.

I don't know. I sent something to my brother once and he received it 20 hours later… I sent it again though.

Well, my dad has to allow new senders to my address (kinda like the admins here have to approve new users…) - so that's the reason it hasn't come through. :)

I haven't read the reviews myself…my mom says there were a lot of good reviews too, though! It's also just really expensive, especially for a whole big family to go… :-/

EDIT: we don't want to spend all that money to go and then not enjoy it if it's unBiblical and stuff…
