Ok, so the latest is that there WILL be some accommodation made for those who must arrive after the registration period on Tuesday. For us, however, it is just too close for comfort, b/c flight and travel delays happen, and we need to adjust to the time change etc. That is why we always arrive one day earlier. It's going to cost us about $300 to make the change :o( We had purchased the tickets b/c they were low and it was saving us money. Guess not, after all….I know someone who is thinking now of not even attending at all b/c of the changes….too bad…

Thanks for this info. Turns out they will not consider making changes in the schedule…

@ ALL: Here is a newly refined list of figures for the number of Nats verses. I goofed again on the Senior calculations (I missed a passage) so we're back to 1077. xP I'm about 95% sure these calculations are correct.

Primary:
Full number of passasges - 153 (141 w/o Locals)
Full number of verses - 553 (512 w/o Locals)
Full number of verses without overlaps - 552 (511 w/o Locals)

Junior:
Passages - 183 (171 w/o Locals)
Verses - 799 (758 w/o Locals)
Verses w/o overlaps - 719 (678 w/o Locals)

Senior:
Passages - 205 (193 w/o Locals)
Verses - 1077 (1036 w/o Locals)
Verses w/o overlaps - 880 (839 w/o Locals)

Random observation, from the scores list, it looks like a very few people (5-6) have declined/dropped out, but not enough to invite alternates yet…

Are they waiting for a certain number to drop out before inviting alternates?

They are doing alternates. It's confirmed. Noah, if I were you I would start memorizing. xD

Just now saw this for some reason. :P My guess is that since there were more than 120 qualifiers (because of ties and the make-up tests), they're waiting until that number gets below 120. There were 121 Primary qualifiers, 128 Juniors and 123 Seniors. As far as I can tell only 1 Primary, 5 Juniors and 1 Senior have dropped out so far (they no longer have a star next to their name). But I would expect more once registration opens.

Alternatively, there's a possibility that no alternates will be invited until registration opens.

(All this is just educated guessing on my part… x) )

Ok. Yea cuz there's several people I know that are close and who really want to go (one is a primary 10 places away and another is a senior 22 places away). And no one's received an invitation email yet, and few people are going to see the decline link on the family panel.

Actually, there was a Senior from the very beginning that had no star next to their name. I'm guessing they possibly didn't do the oral thing…?

I noticed that too, and a Primary in 79th had the same thing, but while the Primary still doesn't have a star, the Senior now does. :P So I don't really know what's going on.

On the BB website, there's a banner that says "Get Ready For Nationals", and in the corner "Review Nationals Scores".

Okay…this is really really odd…my friend, Bethany, who made the cut, is now missing from the scores list. =/ She had placed 88th but now she's missing. I have no clue what the deal is….any help?

Brianna placed 42nd and Philip placed 104th.

I don't think she's missing, but the city name is changed so that may be what happened. :)

Yes, after I posted that, we found her via her ID number…but that city is about an hour from where she lives - I don't know what the issue it there. :P

Okay, so for those of you who are wondering…. I do still hope to be at Nationals this year! It all depends on if I can get a ride there. ;) So, I'm trying to figure out the details, and if I make it I hope to get to meet a lot of you there!

Are you able to register for the webinar? When I try to, I get a page saying "${Training.Name}" and then they ask for my name and such.

And they haven't really given any info on auditions for the GS, but if you're interested in being on the GS, I think you need to check the box on the front page of your family control panel, below the things about the SG being released and such. :)

Seth told me something along the lines of the Contest team is working on them, and they should be out soon, although it might be a while. ^(Um, is that a contradiction? xP Grr. I NEED MY CARDS!!)^

I use ESV. BB says they're aware of mistakes in the verse cards.
