@Bethany: Yes I have heard that one. It was on their debut album, which I have. Did you like it?

Yes, I did. Kind of one of their more "rocky" songs, I guess, but it's an awesome song.

Not exactly my favorite of their songs, but it's good. :) BTW what do you think of their latest? (It's on my mind because it's stuck in my head right now… :P)

I thought you said Casting Crowns was your favorite a while ago??? :P It's okay if you change your mind. I do that a lot too. :) BTW, @Bethany - I think I've posted this before, but Casting Crowns is my favorite, and I also really like Tenth Avenue North, MercyMe, Matthew West, Jeremy Camp, and Chris Tomlin. :)

Okay :) Not that it matters, but I was just wondering.

BTW, completely off topic, but did you want to send me an email so I could connect you with Emily? (If you've already done it, sorry - I don't receive emails from new addresses right away.) We are leaving Monday morning, so if you're going to, try to do it by tomorrow.

Um… sorry I never saw this… what is their latest? I probably haven't heard it cause the only place I usually hear their songs is at the Christian book store. :P

I know…. I don't know how Manwell is going to go on from here. Maybe someone new will come on. But then I'll probably dislike that even more. =( It was bad enough when Pablo left…. >_>

Lol! Me too. :P Although, I think it's my least favorite of all of his songs that I've heard. Just because of the words… they sorta don't make a whole lot of sense. And how does the "I feel alive, I come alive, I am alive on God's great dance floor" part tie into the rest of the song? But I still do like the song. ;)

Hey, if you guys are able to, search "Keith Green - The Sheep and the Goats (Live)" on YouTube - it might be other places too. This recording was from the 70s, I think, so his hair is… interesting. :P But the song is AWESOME - I'd say it's one of his best.
If you do get a chance to watch it, watch his hair bouncing - it's pretty funny. ;)

facepalm

It is people like you who bring a bad name to CCM. xP

This is the Wikipedia definition of FF5's style, which I think is remarkably accurate:

"Family Force 5 has been cited as a crunk rock band, mixing a diverse set of music styles including punk, rap, post-hardcore, R&B, funk, dance, electronica, and rap metal with positive, party lyrics."

But…. they are not contemporary Christian. =P

Right on! Yeah, FF5 is definitely not Christian, although I do believe they were at one time. But songs like X Girlfriend show that they aren't the kind of clean family music we Christian hope for.
"Radiation" is a supposedly Christian song by them.

Sadly, they went the way of Sleeping with Sirens and Relient K. They used to be at least appropriate, but now they may as well be on secular radio with Maroon 5 and Miley Cyrus. :(

Please try to be nice in your correction. I don't think Abigail was hurt by it… but I know I am a more timid person (in real life) and I might have taken it as harsh. Could you have worded it differently maybe?
