Injuries!

I used Alfreds!!!! =D =D

Okay, the similarities between us are getting CREEPY! This is awesome.
Emily H
I know, that's like exactly what I though (ahhhhh)!! yikes! :)
Random Narnian Warrior (Tarva/Abi)
You are almost exactly like me…creepy. That is too cool! Hey, maybe I'm Corin and you're Cor/Shasta! Or maybe the other way around. We didn't know we were twins but we really are and we accidentally met each other because of Narnia…
Emily H
lol, maybe so….
Random Narnian Warrior (Tarva/Abi)
Who's Corin, who's Cor?
Emily H
I think you'd be Cor.
Random Narnian Warrior (Tarva/Abi)
All right. You're Corin Thunderfist, I'm the Horse's boy/Prince Cor. It works! We now have "official" Narnia code names!
Emily H
lol, okay!! Neat!
Random Narnian Warrior (Tarva/Abi)
:-) Awesome!
Random question: do you have a wild and crazy imagination that can run away with you? So much so that when you're walking through a graveyard you've lived next to all your life almost, you start talking with your friend about how that particular gravestone would look perfect in a spooky movie-type graveyard, with moss growing all over it, and a rusted iron fence around it, and…your cat steps out from behind that gravestone and you both scream?
Emily H
basically, yes. But I don't live anywhere near a graveyard, so in that sense no. :D
Random Narnian Warrior (Tarva/Abi)
LOL We'd get along perfectly!
I have to go. :-( Been great talking to you.
Emily H
smiling happily totally!!!
Okay :( Good night! It was great talking with you too!!! Bye!!
Random Narnian Warrior (Tarva/Abi)
Bye!
Random Narnian Warrior (Tarva/Abi)
Hey, Corin/Emily, my mom said I could post one more question for you before I hit the sack. I was wondering, do you like to draw a lot?
I'll get your answer next time I'm on. See you! Bye!
Emily H
lol =D No, I don't…. :( I can't draw like at all:(
Random Narnian Warrior (Tarva/Abi)
You should practice more!!! You'd probably be good at it.
Emily H
lol, I'm not so sure about that….:) I could probably get better but never good :P :D
Random Narnian Warrior (Tarva/Abi)
Oh, I'm sure you could be. I finally learned how to draw people (sort of) about a month ago. They are far from perfect, though; they still look really cartoony, and I've been drawing for years! :-P I'm sure you could learn to draw well.
BTW, as we're on the "Injuries" thread, I thought I should probably mention that I can walk normally again. The cut on my foot is almost completely healed, but I'm going to have a humdinger of a scar there for likely the rest of my life.
Random Narnian Warrior (Tarva/Abi)
I can walk barefoot again, and about 1/2 inch square of callus peeled off, but, otherwise I'm good. Yay!

Injuries? I've never had anything serious, which is a miracle if you consider all the farm machinery I'm around and the wild things I do. I do have a scar on my knee from when I cut it while sliding down the barn roof. (Yes, I slid down the barn roof on purpose. It was fun.) I also have a scar from jumping a wooden fence. I didn't swing high enough, and grazed my leg a cross the top. I have a scar from falling on an escalator, (I was running up it the wrong way. Hasn't evey one done that at some time in their life?)
In all the years of farming, I think we've only ever had one broken bone among us kids. One of my brothers got his finger caught on a twine that was wrapped around the beater bar of the manure spreader while it was running and it broke his finger.

(I was running up it the wrong way. Hasn't evey one done that at some time in their life?)
TOTALLY! :D

(I was running up it the wrong way. Hasn't evey one done that at some time in their life?)
well, ahem, no. Not because I don't want too, but because well, my parents didn't want me to well, fall on it and cut myself…. lol =D
Emma
(I was running up it the wrong way. Hasn't evey one done that at some time in their life?)well, ahem, no. Not because I don't want too, but because well, my parents didn't want me to well, fall on it and cut myself.... lol =D
SAME HERE!
I've wanted to do that for a long time.
SavedByGrace
I might have done it at CHEO, but I'm certain my parents wouldn't have approved… :P
Emma
That's the last time I've seen an escalator! At CHEO. I wanted to do it there, but DAd said no. :(
SavedByGrace
I thought that might be the case. :) And I figured your dad wouldn't allow you either. :D (And he's wise to do so! :) )
2 Corinthians 5:17
Once I was sewing and my finger slipped, the needle going almost through my finger! Thankfully, not my nail. It hurt!!!!!!
Emma
Yeah. Every time we went on the escalator, Joseph said, "Let's go up/down the wrong way!"
Oh, why weren't you at prayer meeting?
SavedByGrace
Way too rainy. I wish we could have been there, but it was pretty messy outside.
Emma
Oh, yeah, we almost didn't go. There was a tornado watch at our house. And when we set out, there was a huge puddle in the middle of the road! Dad wouldn't have gone through it, but thankfully, someone passed us just then and went through it just fine. So we went through. If you remember, there's a low spot in our backyard. There was a river in it! (That's what we call it when a bunch of water wells up in it.) the current was so strong the Dad said that if Elisabeth tried to walk through it, she could have drowned. : |
Priscilla K.
well, ahem, no. Not because I don't want too, but because well, my parents didn't want me to well, fall on it and cut myself…. lol =D

I can't use that excuse, because my Dad does it too!
God's Maiden of Virtue
Mom said we also didn't go because there was a flash flood warning down in Stark County or something.
Hiruko Kagetane
We weren't at church either, because of storm and flood and tornado warnings where we live.
Dani(elle)
Yesterday? :) I was looking at the radar wondering if u were getting bad storms, but of course you weren't on to ask!
:) lol jk

(I was running up it the wrong way. Hasn't evey one done that at some time in their life?)
Oh, I sooooooo like doing that :) At the 2011 Nationals they had several escalators in the hotel and my brother and I and the biblebeebunny and Everett C. would go up and down them the wrong way :) It was lots of fun :)
Madi
Good grief, it sounds stormy where y'all live. I think you should move to a more…ahem…mild area. ;)
Dani(elle)
That sounds really fun!
Jarrett
lol that was fun!
SavedByGrace
I'm not gonna move out of Ohio just because of some stormy weather!!!!
Mommy's Helper
Same here Nicholas! There was a flash flood warning here too, I think. But we all begged Dad to go, so we did.
Madi
so, what do you like so much about Ohio?? I've never been there, so I'm just curious. :)
God's Maiden of Virtue
@Madi: Let's see…..I was born here and my whole life is here – is that reason enough? :) Though, I might be okay if we had to move to OK or MO or something….however it would take a lot of time to think and pray about, because it would still be pretty hard….:)
Madi
Yeah, I guess those are good reasons. ;)
Hiruko Kagetane
I'd hate to leave all my friends.
Madi
yeah well…I didn't mean for you to give me the reasons why you wouldn't want to leave. I meant like…if everyone you knew lived in a different place would you like to live there?
Dani(elle)
NEW ZELAND!! No I'm just kidding IDT I'd every want to live there but I REALLY want to go there someday!!!!
biblebee
My older brother wants to move there! And he's not JK :)
Madi
Why does everyone want to move to NZ?
biblebee
I don't know….Mostly everybody in our church group wants to move there to :)
