It was okay, I guess. The book is so much better!
At first it made me a little mad how they portrayed the High King Peter… but I kind of like the theme that as long as Peter was trying to do things on his own (with out Aslan) nothing worked out. However I think they could have even made that more pointed.
I also wish Aslan had been in it more (like he was in the books). But I wasn't watching it with high expectations, so I wasn't really disappointed at all (it was better then my other options). :)
I enjoyed the action… my favorite part was any part with Aslan. I really enjoyed Reepicheep (but who doesn't?). :)

Yeah, it irritated me that Caspian and Peter had arguments, whereas in the books, that is not so.
And I agree, the Aslan and Reepicheep parts are great!

Hey, I just wanted to let you know that I'm not trying to ignore the song that you shared with me on GS. It's been acting up for me and only letting me stay on the home page, so I can't listen to any shared songs. =/ Rosie's is doing the same, so if you shared anything with her, that's why she's not responding. ;)

My favorite times of the year are local Bible Bee, haying time in the summer, and Ham Radio Field Day in the springing. So for those who are wondering ,I have had an account on Memverse since May of 2012. I remember the day because it was the day a little friend of mine was going to have heart surgery, I was praying for her as I made my account. That little girl is almost three years old now! Praise God! I have been called a lot of things in my life but you can call me by my user name. I am stubborn in that I don’t give up on people of my own will. In the past I have known what it is to be an outcast (in other words I sympathies with underdogs). I am thrilled to find things in common with my friends ^whoever they may be^. I enjoy riding horses, driving in the country, boating, writing papers, dreaming, anything with animals, and I love to read… I have lots of experience with children of all ages. Like a lot of you, I was saved at a very young age. In fact I don’t remember exactly when but I know it happened. It was a decision I made to trust in Jesus as my personal Savior. I am so unworthy of His gift of Salvation (Ephesians 2:8-10)! I have grown closer to the Lord through the trials I have had to face (James 1:2-4), and though they have been unpleasant at the time I always look back and thank God for the hardships (Romans 5:3-5). Being a sinner I continue to struggle with things in my life. My prayer is that I can point to people to Christ through the way I live my life (Ephesians 4:1). I am my brother’s keeper. That does not mean that I am bossy. The title reminds me that I need to care about people enough to take responsibly to pray for them. That is how I feel about you all! I have read all about you guys in the “Memverse User List” and am eager to meet you! XD

Yes, I am familiar with 'Before the Throne of God Above' and really like it, though I haven't found any arrangments that I particularly like. It's certainly pretty high in my list of favorite 'contemporary' songs.

Their music is very similar to the Geneva Foundation's music (we were discussing them earlier - probably around page 5-6). Frankly, in general I find it lacking from a strictly musical aspect. Probably what jumps out at me the most is the lack of dynamic, harmonic, or contextual changes… it pretty much just says the same… and the same… and the same… and I gently… nod off… to sleep…
Well, okay, that's an exaggeration. :) I appreciate what they're doing, and I appreciate it as a form of worship that probably has blessed many people, and am glad that groups like that exist. It's encouraging to find people who aren't always trying to be the latest, the newest, and the coolest. That's just not my personal favorite music, though there's certainly things that I like about it and I enjoy listening to it every once in a while. I think I liked the Psalm 199 (the second one) the most out of those.

Being that I don’t know music as well as you, I trust your overview and insight. Thank you. :) These are the songs that I grew up singing, but I have to agree that I don’t like to listen to them all the time… my mom does though.

When it came to memorizing a Psalm for Bible Bee I was having a hard time not quoting the “Psalter” instead of the Psalm. :\

So, there is no Psalm 199 in the Bible, maybe it is a typo of psalm 119? I listened to some of them, and they sound like the group that did the Psalm 119 we have, which is a word for word (almost entirely) version in the KJV set to different tunes per 8 verse group.

Wow, it's a little hard to believe that I didn't notice that I was listening to a psalm number that didn't exist. :) The link worked correctly with 199, though, and the screen obviously says 199…

Yes, we use Celtic or a similar style of music fairly often for Contra dances.

Haha. It’s a pretty crazy operetta isn’t it? My dad says anyone who likes that kind of stuff is nuts… so that’s what I am. :P Yeah, that is one of my brothers favorite parts too (but the Pirate King song has a catchier tune so that’s what I hear them singing more). I can never decide what song I like most. ;) It’s all really silly!

I’ve been busy. Very busy! Trying to finish up school and get ready for the summer. I guess, I never thought graduation would be like this… How are you doing?
