Here's an acrostic I wrote yesterday called "Rejoice".

Remember, rejoice, and always be glad,
Every time you are grouchy it makes others sad.
Jesus will help you always to smile,
Or stay by you to help you go one extra mile.
I know He will always be right by my side,
Christ loves me and that is the reason He died.
Ever loving, not changing, He's there all the way.

@Rejoicing Always~ How did you post a comment without having to reply to someone? I mean, it didn't say that you replied to someone below the comment.

e.g., at the bottom of my comment, it says:

A-D-T-M-A, who exactly are you? You're signed up under our church, so are you from it? Are you possibly one of the Waters? :)

THE DOCTOR

@SBG and GMOV~ I am… I am…. the same person as OCTSRIS. ADTMA is my separate account for Bible Bee. Of course, my Bible Bee username would also have to be a line from a hymn, naturally.

EDIT– So as not to be confusing, my former username was "A-Debtor-To-Mercy-Alone".

This is by Augustus M. Toplady, sometime in the 1800's.

A debtor to mercy alone,
Of covenant mercy I sing,
Nor fear with Thy righteousness on,
My person and off'ring to bring.
The terrors of law and of God
With me can have nothing to do.
My Saviour's obedience and blood
Hide all my transgressions from view.

The work which His goodness began
The arm of His strength will complete.
His promise is yea and amen,
A vow He will never forfeit.
Things future nor things that are now,
Nor all things below or above
Can make Him His purpose forgo
Or sever my soul from His love.

My name from the palms of His hands
Eternity will not erase;
Impressed on His heart it remains
In marks of indelible grace.
Yes, I to the end shall endure,
As sure as the earnest is giv'n;
More happy, but not more secure;
A glorified spirit in Heav'n.

st. 1, line 4, and st. 3, line 8 alt.

InSoloChristo

Wrought in me by grace,
My heart: its dwelling place;
Lord of love let it ever be
Love's furnace blazing on for thee.

If not for thee my Lord
Thy calls I'd have not heard.
If thou hadst not me revived
Naught could ever be contrived
To let me heed thy calls
Or shatter down resistant walls.

What then gave me life?
Ending my foolish strife?
Lord it was and is to be
Love's furnace blazing on for me.

Raise up the theme triumphantly
For love it is and is to be!
Salvation is from his love let free
On me, through me, all around me;
Ever through his love shall I
My plea for grace be let to cry!

Love, the torch of all God's race,
Must penetrate to every place;
And by mercy from above
Many repair to your furnace of love!

THE DOCTOR

My favorite hymn is "And Can It Be" by Charles Wesley. It's the best hymn in existence.

Here's a hymn called "Guide Me O Thou Great Jehovah". For info on the lyricists, see below it.

Guide me, O Thou great Jehovah,
Pilgrim through this barren land.
I am weak but Thou art mighty;
Hold me with Thy powerful hand.
Bread of heaven,
Feed me till I want no more.

Open now the crystal fountain
Whence the healing stream doth flow;
Let the fiery, cloudy pillar
Lead me all my journey through.
Strong Deliverer
Be Thou still my Strength and Shield.

When I tread the verge of Jordan,
Bid my anxious fears subside;
Death of death and hell's Destruction,
Land me safe on Canaan's side.
Monst'rous billows
Shall not turn mine eyes from Thee.

In the valley of deep sorrow;
When I weep alone at night;
When the roaring tempest presses,
Fly to my aid while I fight!
Why would I mourn
If I have Thee as my hope?

Thou wilt guide me, great Jehovah
Till my body breathes no more.
Then my soul shall launch in new Eden
And rest on that sparkling shore.
Songs of praises
I will ever give to Thee!

Hey, MHIBONLTJBARIDNTTSFBWLO, you should probably change your name; it's taking up a whole lot of space on the forums when it says that you have made the last comment. :P Maybe somethin' shorter instead?? :P

Nope! How'd you guess? Nah nah nah. Hey, like I'm just following your logic. You yourself said that it was "no fun" to keep the same username forever.
Since this is just my BB account, and I don't comment w/ it much, it's okay. I wouldn't do it w/ my main account, which I'm known by.

P.S. 2 things. 1: My nickname "Beethoven the 2nd" had nothing to do w/ my gravatar. Besides Beethoven was DEAF, NOT BLIND!!! I just gave myself that name because I'm a musical geek. 2: Most of your usernames don't even make sense to me. Who is Samus? Is it a Wii character? I'm not familiar because I don't play video shames - or, I mean video games.

Heh, I could leave you hangin' about the name Samus………..and I think I will. Just ask the other Hannah W. at church on Wedsday, she has a game with Samus in it. I might just change my name though……

Alright, just so you all know, I'm the same person as A-Debtor-To-Mercy-Alone, Isaac Watts the 2nd, Beethoven the 2nd, and Richard Byrnholm and many more to come. I'm switching back to my main account (as opposed to my BB one) because I keep changing my BB account's name. This is now my only account for the blog (and verse memorization outside of BB)

@PhantomOfTheForums~ Alright, it's Thursday. I asked her last night and she didn't know a thing.

He's been influenced by you. You just can't keep the same username can you?!? Hehe… No, really. Couldn't you change your name to something simple and keep it there for a change? Like… I'll Never Change my Username Again!?

Here's a poem I wrote called "Church". You can sing it to the tune of "My Country, 'Tis of Thee".
The bells are ringing,
The people are singing
Thy praise and might.
Now the preacher does speak,
The people all get meek,
And soon they will begin to seek
Our Lord and Light.

Heh, check it out now!

@CopycatWhoKeepsChangingHisUsernameLikeMe~ She does, she just didn't remember it then. I've asked her about the name Samus before, so she does. I'll have to refresh her memory so she can explain to you. If she doesn't, you'll never know will you?

Emma

Okay, I'm just going to ignore you from now on. Well, I guess I won't, you are pretty fun, but I'd like you more if you would STOP CHANGING YOUR USERNAME!
Wait… which Hannah W.? If you mean me, you've never asked me about it, and I have NO IDEA WHATSOEVER of what the name Samus is!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Here's a username you could have: IGNORE ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Well, maybe if I stop telling you what username you could have, you would stop!!!!!!!!!! Okay, maybe I should keep my thoughts to myself.
Hey, he isn't a copycat! He's just trying to show you how annoying it is!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey! Ya know, I think I might have a little cold, and the Bible says that laughter is good medicine. I like giggling! I makes people laugh! One time Elisabeth started giggling at the dinner table out of nowhere, and the rest of of couldn't help laughing, even if we tried as hard as we could not to.

Like maybe I'll get your sister to play some tricks on you, or I could sneak into your house in the middle of the night with a flashlight that shines different colors and a piece of white cloth and I'll turn the flashlight on, put the white cloth over it, and leave it on your dresser.

At Akron Fossils and Science Center, did you go on the zip line? I did, and it was so fun! I was scared at first, and Christian said he had never seen anyone who didn't like it. I thought, "Well, I'm gonna be the first one you've seen who doesn't like it." Then when I came back, I said I loved it, and asked him, "If I recite another passage, can I go on it again?"

Did you do the nerve-wracking ball? Dad did it, and he flinched. Caleb did it, and he flinched. Nathan did it, and he flinched. I did it, and I didn't flinch. I'm brave.

Another passage I'd love to recite,
Because then I might
Get to go on the zip-line,
And I wouldn't be scared this time!
I love to do the nerve-wracking ball,
Because it shows I'm braver than all.
I like to go on the helicopter swing,
Even though it's a strange-looking thing,
Even thought while on it I did yell,
How fun it is I could not tell.
I liked to shoot a water-balloon,
'Cause if the dinosaurs were real, they'd sound like a buffoon.

This is from a story I made about a girl who found a box of treasure in a cave.

This box is filled with treasure,
It will give you delight beyond measure.
Anyone may open it,
If they have their candles lit.
From it you will take,
Things that were hard to make.
You can give some to your mother,
or your father, sister, or brother.
You will find some silver teacups,
On them are carved gold buttercups.
Also silver forks and spoons,
On them are carved white and black racoons.
You will find a golden crown,
and a lady's evening gown.
Also some older books and such,
Not too few, not too much.

Nathan Wright: Impersonator Hunter

This hymn was written by Haldor Lillenas and I added to it.

Here is the music: http://s1290.beta.photobucket.com/user/On-Christ-The-Solid-Rock-I-Stand/media/asf.mp4.html

The Bible stands like a rock undaunted 'Mid the raging storms of time;
Its pages burn with the truth eternal, And they glow with a light sublime.
The Bible stands; praise our God Who gave it to direct our trek of life.
It spreads the good news to all the world and it is sharper than any knife. (Chorus)

Chorus:
The Bible stands tho' the hills may tumble,
It will firmly stand when the earth shall crumble;
I will plant my feet on its firm foundation,
For the Bible stands.

The Bible stands like a mountain tow'ring Far above the works of man;
Its truth by none ever was refuted, And destroy it they never can.
The Bible stands and it will forever, When the world has passed away;
By inspiration it has been given, All its precepts I will obey. (Chorus)

The Bible stands every test we give it, For its Author is divine;
By grace alone I will expect to live it, And to prove it and make it mine.
Glory be to God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Ghost!
Above all treasures, above all joys the Lord and His Word I cherish most. (Chorus)

Here's a poem that I made today for my handwriting:
Thank you, Lord God, for love and care,
Your mercy is everywhere!
Thank you for cleansing every sin,
And making us pure within!
Thank you, God, for you love, grace and care
Your love is everywhere!

I've been waiting for this forum to become active again!
@ Gil-Galad: You're the changing-my-name-on-Memverse freak! Matthew 7:1: Judge not, lest you be judged.

Here's an acrostic about you:
Gil-Galad
Is silly, and he makes me
Laugh heartily,

Giggle,
And Cackle hysterically,
Like my silly brother InSoloChristo.
And I must admit I am silly too, But, you know, silly people are not
Dumb!

Emma

Thanks. But I'm not allowed to talk to you any more on here because you're mean, so bye.

Here is an acrostic poem:

Come to God, for he is the solid rock; Any
Others are like sinking sand or
Mud. God will give you
Everlasting life; so come

To Jesus, for he can save you from your sins. No
Other can.

Glory to God in the highest; peace
On earth and good will to men! Jesus Christ has come
Down from heaven to save sinners from their iniquities!

Here is just a poem (I might have already posted this):

God made the grass, the sky, the seas,
He also made the fruit and trees,
He, in the spring, makes flowers bloom,
Hear the birds chirp, you'll have no gloom.

Here is another poem:

God is good to everyone,
For he gave his only son,
On the cross to die.
To save my
Sins! God is so good
He shed his blood.
He died upon the tree
To save a wretch like me.
He opened up my eyes
That later I may go to him up in the skies,
Enter into his glory and meet God,
When I get there, I'll give him all the praise and laud.
Thank you, Lord Jesus, for saving every sin,
And for making me pure within.
To even me, God has shown his love
And made his mercy swoop down like a dove.
Let us praise our good Saviour who sits at his Father's right hand,
For he has opened up our eyes that we may go to heaven's land!
Thank you, God, for everything!
When I see you, I will sing,
"Glory to God, Praise to the Lord,
Thank you for sending me your precious word,
That I may see you and not go to hell,
Now I can say, 'With my soul it is well!'"

His Servant II (Bethany)

Here's a poem I wrote awhile ago…

COME UNTO ME
Based off: Matthew 11:28-30

All ye that are laden
And ye that be burdened
Unto me, do hasten

Come, and I will give you rest
I will give peace to you
To those who are oppressed

Take my yoke upon thee
I am meek and lowly
And you shall learn from me

My burden will be light
My yoke will be easy
In Me, you will delight

-Bethany P.

Please do not use without permission. Thanks! :)

Here is a poem I wrote:
Look, his hands, his side, his feet,
Of his body we do eat,
God sent his only Son
To be the hurting One,
To take all the blame,
That we might have a great gain.

He bore every transgression
That we can be cleansed within,
And live always with God,
And give him praise and laud.
Jesus is so good,
That for us He shed His blood.

Here is another poem I wrote:
Butterflies, moths, whate'er it be
All the glory goes to Thee.
Your nature is pretty, oh LORD,
And also is your precious Word.

Here is another poem I wrote:
Hope, faith and love love is the best,
God had love for us when he blessed,
Every creation in the world,
So let us love our precious LORD.

Here is another poem I wrote:
Praise and bow to the LORD,
Praise and bow to the LORD,
Praise and bow to the LORD,
All ye lands.

Love and bow to the Lord,
Love and bow to the Lord,
Love and bow to the Lord,
All ye lands.
Sing and bow to the Lord,
Sing and bow to the Lord,
Sing and bow to the Lord,
All ye lands.

Serve and bow to the Lord,
Serve and bow to the Lord,
Serve and bow to the Lord,
All ye lands.

Read his precious word,
Read his precious word,
Read his precious word,
All ye lands.

Pray to our good Lord,
Pray to our good Lord,
Pray to our good Lord,
All ye lands.

Worship and bow to the Lord,
Worship and bow to the Lord,
Worship and bow to the Lord,
All ye lands.

Here is another poem I wrote:
God loves us so much that he sent
His one begotten Son
That we can always live with him
When life on earth is done
If you ask him to save you now
His answer yes will be,
He is so good
He shed his blood
To save a wretch like me

God, save a wicked wretch like me
Whose mocking sin killed you,
Who scorned and hated you, O Lord,
Who crowned you with thorns too.
We love you so much, O our Lord,
For setting sinners free,
You sent your Son
To be the One
To die upon the tree.

Here is an acrostic poem I wrote:
Christmas is charming, Christmas is
Happy, Christmas is fun, for Christ has come to make us
Righteous, he
Is here to
Save our sins! He is here
To die upon the tree; to open up our eyes, to
Make us see,
And he is here to call the sinners, we are all
Sinners, not one of us is righteous. Not one of us is holy! But Jesus Christ is righteous! But Jesus Christ is holy!

Here is another poem I wrote:
You shall love the Lord,
And his word,
Love God,
Give him laud.
Love Jesus,
For he loved us before he had even seen us,
Love Christ,
For he has made all creatures, from humans down to mice.
Love Emmanuel,
For he was born on Noel (Christmas),
Love the Prince of Peace,
For he can save all of us, even the least.
Love the Everlasting Father,
Who is the Son of our Heavenly Father,
Love God, love Jesus, love Christ, love the Lord, love Emmanuel, love the Prince of Peace, love the Everlasting Father, love the Trinity, the Three in One,
Love Jesus Christ, the Father's Son.

I just decied to tryy an acrostic so hear it is

Pray to Jesus
Rise for Jesus
Acept Jesus
Insted of others
Sing to Jesus
E(can I have some help)
ok except for the last one good?

pretty good! For e you could do Escape Satan. Or Extol Jesus or Eulogize Jesus. Eulogize means to speak or write in high praise of. By the way, I had to look in the dictionary for all of those! Or you could do Examine Jesus' word. Or Expand the knowledge of Jesus' word. But those last two aren't quite as good as the others. But here's a good one: Exalt Jesus. OK thats enough suggestions isnt it? Bye

Here's an acrostic poem I wrote a few days ago:\

Rain

Raindrops are dropping onto my head,
And I will say again, as I have said,
"I love the rain, I love the snow,
Now outside let us go!"

Sarah

Last year, I had to write a poem about America's music for a school assignment, and this is what I came up with:

America the Beautiful has many different tunes,
Our astronauts did sing them when they landed on the moon.
And though the people of this land all come from many places,
When we sing our special songs, God's joy is on our faces.
We like to sing our music, we like to play it too,
This is just what, for a living, many people do.
Some people sing and play quite well, others just cannot,
Others, when they're writing songs, their words are tied in knots.
But there is something special about our well-loved music,
That makes it not matter much exactly who will use it.
When writers, since they love this land, decide to write a poem,
They often put a tune to it and make its notes their own.
This is how the pieces of our music came to be,
And if they all were in a store, a packed place we would see.
America is not too grand, nor its history very long,
But I love it dearly when I sing its many songs.

Emma

Good job Sarah! Are you Bethany's sister? Here is an acrostic:

Sing to God, sing loud! For God
Is good, yes he is! Let us
Not sing for man, Let us sing for
God. When you sing,

Try to make it just for
Our

God, Try to make it just for
Our Lord! Try to make it for Jesus! And when you
Do, sing it loud!

Here's another one:

Trust in the Lord, you can trust him, He has
Redeemed
Us from our
Sins! We cannot
Trust any other, but Jesus we can trust, he is great!

Jesus has given us
Eternal life in him
So let
Us praise our Great Messiah, He came down to earth to
Save our Sins!

Christmas is a fun time of year,
Happiness bubbles 'round, also cheer,
Round the Christmas tree we sing,
"I love my Christmas presents! What cool things!"
Singing happily, the children play, but the best thing of Christmas is
The Messiah's birthday! When it is
Morning, when it is night,
And in the noon, let us remember that our Great Bright Light
Saved us when he came down from Earth, when he died upon the cross, He saved us! So let us remember him in our time of joy!

Here is a familiar Christmas song whose center is Jesus and his Birthday:
Silent night, Holy night, All is calm, All is bright, Round yon virgin Mother and Child, Holy Infant so tender and mild, Sleep in heavenly peace, Sleep in heavenly peace.

Silent night, Holy night, Shepherds quake at the sight, Glories stream from heaven afar, Heavenly hosts sing Alleluia, Christ, the Savior, is born! Christ, the Savior is born.

Silent night, Holy night, Son of God, love's pure light, Radiant beams from thy holy face, With the dawn of redeeming grace, Jesus, Lord, at thy birth! Jesus, Lord, at Thy birth.

Here are other poems I made up:
Christmas time!
Let us sing
Of our love
To our King!

Happiness
Joyfulness
Come around
When Christmas
Makes us sound
Songs of praise
Worship, too
Let us do
Sing to God,
Give him laud,
Give him applaud,
Give him love,
Give him joy,
For he has given us eternal life!
He came down from Heaven
Into a virgin's womb,
To save his people from their sins
And make them have no gloom.

Love Jesus, he has come
And given many, not some
People righteousness
Because of his holiness.

Jesus! You came down to earth
Christ! You had a humble birth
God! You sent your Son
To be the Holy One!
To die upon the tree
To save a wretch like me
So let us love our Lord,
Study his own Word,
Walk in his ways,
Try to be like him all thy days,
For he died
When he hadn't even lied
He hadn't done a wrong deed,
But we he hath freed.
Love Jesus with thy heart and might,
For he is thy great bright light!

Christ
Hath come and died, though he was
Righteous, he saved me, though
I maybe had fair
Skin, maybe I was pretty on the outside, I was filthy, dirty, on
The inside. Yet he saved me, Jesus saved me, Christ has saved me! Thank you, Lord!

Nature, that was made by
A righteous and holy God:
Toads, bugs, ants, snakes, things you say
"Uuuuuugh" and "Eeeeeeek!" at, the
Righteous and holy God hath made all that and more, but the best thing he did was send his son to give us
Eternal life!

Here goes my haiku:
Recitals are fun,
So go, sit back and listen,
Or go and perform!

(The reason I wrote about recitals is because i had one recently. (December 6th.))

Here is a poem I wrote called Why:

Jesus, thank you for saving me from my sin,
Christ, thank you for making me pure within,
God, thank you for sending your Son to die,
Lord, thank you for saving me, but why?
Why did you send your only Son
To be the dying, hurting One,
To save us from our sin,
When you were innocent and pure within?
We could never thank you,
For you've done everything, from saving us down to making a cow moo.
Why did you make everything,
When you knew we would never sing
Our praises to you,
Our love for you,
Until we were cleansed within?
Until you had forgiven our sin?
And still many, many, people do not
Many people have not sought
Many people do not sing to you!
Many people have not sought you!
But I was the the foremost
I hated you and your heavenly host,
Until you touched me with your mighty hand
And making me go to Heaven, the best land!
Why? Why? Why did you do this?
Why? Why? Why did God do this?
God did this because he loved us.
God did this because he’s love!
God did this because of his perfect mercy,
Which he made to swoop down on us like a dove.
Why? Why? Why, O Lord?
Why? Why? Why did you send your word?
Because of your perfect love,
Because of your perfect grace,
Because of your perfect mercy,
Someday I’ll see you face to face.
Someday I’ll see you face to face!!!!!

Here is another poem called No:

God, why do you love me?
O, why do you love me?
Am I better than the rest?
Do I deserve to be blessed?
No! No! No!
No! No! So
Why do you love me?
Why do you love me?
Was I ever, ever good?
Did I praise you like I should?
No! No! No!
No! No! So
Why are you like this?
Why are you like this?
To you did I ever sing?
Did I ever praise my King?
No! No! No!
No! No! No!
I could not thank you at all
For your love, for your call
To me!
Could I thank you?
No! No! No!
No! No! No!
No! No! No!
No! No! No!

Onto the holy town!
Where mercy does abound.
Prepare yourself for the holy town
Or into Hell you will go down.
Give your life & heart to God
And give him all the praise and laud.
Do not say, "I will wait."
For then you'll have a terrible fate.
Prepare yourself for the holy town
Or into Hell you will go down.

Here's some acrostic poems I wrote about a month ago:

This first one is about my baby sister.
Moriah is rather unhappy, but not
On Mommy and Daddy's bed!
Regret
It we do not when we put her on it! She
Always likes it, and is always
Happy on it!

This second one is about acrostics.
Acrostics; why are they
Called that? It is
Really
Odd and
Strange; so why
Is it
Called that
Silly name?

This third one is about lots of fun.
Lots
Of fun;
Tons of
Smiles; many

Outbursts;
Fantastic

Fun; kids are
Uttering silly jokes,
No crying or arguing is heard.

Now here is a poem I made up right now.

Hello, my baby, you are sweet,
Just look at your precious tiny feet!
My baby sister, you are great
You no one could ever hate.
Your smile, your giggle, even your loud, happy cry
They make me happy, never make me sigh.
Baby, you mean so much to me,
I want to mean so much to thee.
Baby, you are the best
I have been so blessed!
Baby, my baby sister, oh, you make me glad,
Especially when you are not sad.
This poem could never tell you
How much I love you, your smiles, your coo.
Enough, enough, I could never get enough
Of your smiles, your happiness, all your cute stuff.
I bet you never get enough of me,
My joy, my gladness, my love for thee.
Good-bye, my loving, sweet, precious baby,
Whenever we part, I could even cry. Well, maybe. :^)

ServantOfTheKing

Here’s a poem I wrote that I thought you might enjoy. If you have any comments, I would love to hear them as I am still editing this. Also, if you think of anything else God’s will can be compared to, please let me know, I am searching for more ideas.

God bless,
Allison
“Be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving preference to one another; not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord.” ~Romans 12: 10-11

God’s Will God’s will is like a complex blueprint for building my house; If I fail to follow the design, my house won’t be right, it won’t work. But if I follow the master plan, I’ll meet with success And my house will be used to praise the master designer as He deserves.

God’s will is like a mighty, majestic mountain which I which to overcome.
It is beautiful and promises much as I view it from the bottom,
But its reward when I finally reach the top is unparalleled.
The amazingness I see when I reach the top are worth the difficult climb.

God’s will is like a young mother’s first pregnancy.
It creeps up unexpectedly and makes her do things she never dreamed of.
It pushes her to the limit, asking her to do the extraordinary;
But its prize in the end was well worth all that pain and stretching.

God’s will is like a straight and narrow path between two deep crevasses,
If I wander off the path, if I go against His will, I fall to my destruction.
But when I stay on it, I am led to an eternal life with my Savior.
I must keep stepping onward, always following God’s path for my life.

God’s will is like a proficient potter, producing something out of me, the clay.
The accomplished potter begins molding with just a blob of imperfections,
Then as he works, he shapes and molds the clay into something profitable.
Though it takes time, when the potter is finished, the clay has become perfect.

God’s will is like my own super-powered flying car;
There are other cars that I can buy, but that one is the best.
With the flying car, I can go farther, faster and do more.
I look different, more people notice me, and want what I have.

God’s will is like the awful-tasting spinach my mom makes me eat;
It doesn’t really taste good but it’s good for me, and it will make me better.
Wise counsels, like my mom, encourage me to consume it.
There is plenty of it, and I’ll never lack it if I diligently search.

God’s will is sometimes like a scorching forest-fire;
It hurts as it burns, but it destroys the evil in my life.
When it has run its course, like a wildfire, the pinecones are left to sprout,
Filling me with the fruits of the Spirit, planting roots deep within my soul.

God’s will is a golden treasure chest filled with pure gold;
I must go everywhere even to the ends of the earth to find it.
I must never give up and when I find it, I must use it well.
It is something I prize above all else, something I desperately desire.

To me, God’s will is like a star on the sea by night.
I use it as a guide; it takes me where I desire to go.
And though there may be a few storms, still my star is there,
Helping and leading me to the starry gates of heaven.
