Thank you everyone, for praying for me! My ankle is feeling slightly better. Dad said that I have to wear an ankle brace all week to keep it stabilized. But thankfully, I can take it off for Locals.

How are you feeling, AstroLeah? I hope you are feeling better, well enough to go to Locals even!

Let's pray for all the nervous young people from ages 7-18 today, as we finish up reviewing/studying :)

Good news: Although not our whole family was able to attend Locals, we got the van fixed last night (pretty cheap, too!). Praise the Lord this didn't happen while we were on the road to Nationals!

No kidding! I know exactly how it feels to have a car break down on the way to Nationals… It happened to ours, and we had to totally get rid of it, because it would have cost A LOT to get it fixed. We had to use a rental van our entire time at Nationals. :(

An Iranian pastor named Youcef Nardarkhani was arrested for three years for apostasy, and was released yesterday!

Christa Leonard has requested prayers on behalf of their entire family that they would be able to go to Nationals this year. Currently they do not have the funds to be able to attend. I am sure it would be a great disappointment for Kerestel, Alethea, and Shiri to have studied so hard, then not being able to go when they qualified. Please pray for them.

Please pray for our assistant pastor's family, as we just lost our assistant pastor to pancreatic cancer.

That's so sad. I'll pray. One of our very first pastors died of pancreatic cancer when he was in his forties.

About three years ago I found out that my Mom was pregnant. I was very excited because had been praying for a brother for years. But about four months later we found out that he was very likely to have trisomy eighteen. No one lives with it. Then the doctors found a huge hole in his heart. We were constantly praying. One and a half months before birth Mom went to an ultrasound and the hole was completely gone! PRAISE GOD! When he was born he was completely fine. Now he is two years old and is a happy healthy boy. Thank God who still works miracles today!

My tailbone has been hurting a lot since last Thursday, and nothing we've tried has really done anything. Please pray that it would get better.

Pray for my family - and all the wonderful people we met during this campaign season - as we adjust back to "normal" life after being heavily involved in the political arena for the last two months.

Also, my former director(/supervisor) is going back home to Arizona and when he gets there he is going to have to have surgery on both of his knees. He worked so hard during this campaign and now he has a torn ACL (I think?) in one knee and a different problem in his other knee.

Pray especially for my sister as she was rather upset about the results and has the Bible Bee coming up in a week.

If you all could be praying for me…I'm getting my wisdom teeth pulled next month. Mostly, that I would be very diligent with the time that I have now, and that even when I'm not feeling the best, I'd still be diligent =)

I'm getting them pulled early, because of my up-coming jaw surgery in May…

As I said elsewhere, I'll certainly be praying. I know what this kind of thing is like–I had four permanent teeth pulled near the beginning of this year, and it HURT for the first couple of days afterward. I had to eat Jello, pudding, applesauce, mashed potatoes, soup, etc. for a week or so. Well, that part wasn't so bad… :) I'll pray it won't be too painful, and that you'll recover soon!

Please pray for our nation right now - the U.S. Senate is currently considering a United Nations Disabilities treaty. I won't go into any details about what side I'm on etc., but if you Google UN CRPD you should come up with some info.

Pray that our leaders will make the right decision. It sounds like the vote might take place on Friday.

I have had a bad cold (runny/stuffy nose, coughing, sore throat) for a couple of weeks, that doesn't seem to want to go away. It wasn't very bad at the beginning, but it just keeps getting worse. I have gotten strep throat three or four times in my life, and I really would not like to have it again. Please pray that my throat would begin to heal, and that it would not lead to strep throat.

My throat was feeling slightly better yesterday evening, but then this morning, it felt (and still feels) awful whenever I swallow. :( So if you could continue to pray for that; and then also, a couple of weeks ago, my three yr. old brother, Peter, got some kind of sickness in his eye. Well, the next week, he passed it on to our almost 11 mon. year old brother Jude, who then gave it to me. I just realized I had it yesterday morning when I woke up. Now, not only do I have a bad cold, but I also have a sickness in my eye. So I would definitely appreciate prayer. :)

Hey Rosie - praying for you, just wrote it down in my prayer journal. I will be sending you a letter in the mail soon…It's not out yet but probably tomorrow or Saturday. :) Get Well Soon!

Hello Rosie ~ How are you feeling…doing any better? Have you gotten over the eye sickness yet? Hopefully no one else in your family got it! Thank you so much for praying! I have been doing much better (Praise the Lord!); not only have I gotten over my eye sickness, but I've been coughing less and my throat doesn't hurt nearly as much when I swallow!
Unfortunately, Titus (my eight year old brother) got it from me. :( I know what you mean; if one person in our family gets sick, someone else is bound to get it….:)

BBJ13- Thank you for praying! I have been feeling much better-hopefully soon I will be completely healed.
I keep a prayer journal too! I don't write down prayer requests in it though. I use it to record my prayers in (that helps me to keep from getting distracted when I pray, like if I have a lot of things on my mind). I like the idea a lot though! Maybe I could do that as well…
I can't wait to receive your letter! I'll be waiting (probably not very patiently though). :D
Oh, and speaking of that, Bethany, I'm so sorry I haven't sent my letter yet! I did write it, I just forgot to send it yesterday morning (and this morning). I will try to remember to send it tomorrow. (Sorry that was kind of off-topic)

My sister Brianna just had an accident on her bike and has several severe skin injuries. No bone injuries, thank God. Please pray that they won't get infected and get worse.

I just found out that tomorrow I'm having an orthodontist appointment in the morning, and then a dentist appointment right after that. If you could be praying for me, I would really appreciate. My mouth always hurts SO bad after my orthodontist appointments (I normally can't eat any type of hard food for several days, just yogurt, applesauce and such), and going to the dentist (which my mouth always hurts after that as well) won't feel very good. Thank you!

I know exactly how you feel. I will pray for you, and I will give you a tip. Take some Advil before you go so that after your orthodontist appointment you won't feel so bad.

Yikes… and I thought getting my braces tightened was bad! I know a little bit of how bad you feel, since I once had to have four permanent teeth pulled out, but that was only once… I'll be praying!

I think her scrapes are healing pretty well. She's being very good about it.
