Hey everybody… I am performing Rachmaninoff's Second Piano Concerto with a local orchestra this Sunday at 3:00 PST.
(I know, that name probably means nothing to most of you!)

Hey, could you all pray for our family and the Detwiler's? Right now, half of our family has the stomach flu (and a few others are showing symptoms of getting it soon…), and some of the Detwilers (Octavius included) have it as well. By God's grace, I have not gotten it (yet), but please pray for the rest of my family, as having to throw up nearly every hour is no fun at all. :(

Yeah I know I had it earlier it is no fun. I will be praying. :)

Yes, Rosie does have it. :( Along with Christian… and now myself as well. In fact, I had it worse than anyone. :P My mom, my dad, Christian, myself, Rosie, and three out of five of my younger brothers have it. Please pray that we would heal soon (and the Detwilers too!).

P.S. Rosie just told me that she will likely be able to talk to you on Tuesday, unless she gets a lot worse; which is rather unlikely. :)

No fun at all - sorry you got it as well! I'm REALLY sorry your sick…being sick with the stomach flu just recently, makes me appreciate good health even more. You can let your family know that I'm praying for y'all!!

Alright, then I'll plan on calling her Tuesday. If she's not up to it though, you can let her know that she doesn't have to answer the phone :) I hope y'all are better by then though, it's no fun being sick on someone's birthday….we all were sick on my mom's birthday :(

Thanks for praying! When we all got up this morning, almost everybody was doing perfectly well! :) I still have a headache, though, since I was the last one to get sick, but I think I'll be doing fine by the end of the day. :)

Just wanted to update you all. I have raised the money I need for Mexico! Praise be to God! I can't believe it! But, I got a call from the group I am going with and they said that the trip was full. So instead I am going to Panama for 2 weeks instead! I am accually happy about the change because I get to go for 2 weeks instead of 1, I will go to Texas for three days for training, and I will be home for my birthday. A few disapointing things are I won't be with my brother, I don't know anyone on the trip, it is twice the money, and Panama has a TON of beetles! Yuck! Well, I just wanted to say thank you for your prayers! I would some more! :)

Well, we've gotten 10 inches of snow (in the last 5 hours) and it's still snowing slightly. We've worked for the last 2 hours on shoveling, that way my older brother can get to work - and we can't get out! If y'all could be praying that we would have wisdom in the situation and safety as well….thanks!

I will keep you in my prayers. I hope your brother is able to make it to work! Aside from the shoveling, the snow sounds really fun! I hope you enjoy it well it lasts. We don't really get that much snow in Oregon, and when we do it never lasts long.

I'm hearing on the radio way up here in Ohio how much snow you guys down there are getting (especially in Kansas City! :D). I'll pray that it's not too much of a hindrance to your routines, especially church. :)

Yeah, we got so much snow - probably 10-12 inches! Did you all get any?

Some friends and us went sledding, and the hill we were on, the snow was so deep that when I stepped in it, it went up to my knees! But, it was totally worth it - sledding is SO much fun! Wish that I could do it with y'all as well, but that would never happen….

Wow! We had snow but it has all but melted. I love sledding too! :) I'm ready for summer and shorts and swimming outdoors though!

One of my friends called me today 2 tell me that one of our other friends said that she doesn't think God or the Bible is real or true anymore. Plz pray that the Holy Spirit would work in her life and plz pray for wisdom for me and my other friend as we confront her.

I will definitely pray for you and your friend! I would try to encourage her with these verses. I have a couple friends who are encountering the same things.

Hello Everyone,

I want to ask for your prayers for my trip to Virginia with my mom. We leave early tomorrow morning, and we are going to visit my brother and his wife, and help them out as they have their first baby. Please pray for saftey on the flights, protection in driving, wisdom as we deal with situations, and non Christian relatives, and mostly peace with the whole situation. I could really use some encouragement right now, so please pray as you feel led. We will be gone for the next week.

Thank you all for praying, we made it safely to Denver, and it is really snowy here. We have an hour layover before we head off to Washington DC, and then drive 3 hours to reach my brother's house.

I'd like to ask prayer for my Mom - she has had something wrong with her foot for months, and has been limping around recently. Please pray for complete healing!

@ all - please pray for my family, as a virus (or maybe a few viruses) seems to be polluting our house. Mom has had it for a while - she's been in bed for the past few days. And my sister just got sick today, with what seems to be a different virus. We need to stay healthy, as we have a elementary school competition this weekend, as well as a young artist competition that I am participating in this Saturday. Please pray with me for God to keep us healthy, and to give us the grace that we need.
