Who's got a Bible Bee box?

Hey!!!!! I LOVE that idea!!!!!!!! Maybe I'll copy it…. :D

That's such a cool idea!!! And it will be soooo much fun!! =D

We did make our UPS driver laugh last year, because we were all running out into the yard and jumping and screaming. :D

We were at music lessons last year when our box came :( we were getting ready to leave when my Grandma (she lives with us) called and said it was here! I basically SCREAMED with excitement!!!!!!!!! I wanted to go straight home, but we had to run some errands first :( after what seems FOREVER, we made it home!!!!! :D

Oh that's torture!!!! :P :)

Last year, I was waiting FOREVER for the box to come and when it came I wasn't allowed to open it until my sister came home…2 - 3 hours later. It was absolute torture. I hope I am here when it comes. We might be in IN on Saturday…we just don't know! :(

They're out for delivery! I think they're coming UPS, and they don't deliver Saturdays. Maybe they'll come Friday!

I think that you can track them on the UPS website. I'm going to have to ask my mom to do that. :)

We received an email from Bible Bee (info@biblebee.org) saying our toolbox has been packed. There is a short paragraph asking us to not open until June first and then a link to the UPS tracking :)

Though, it will be infinitely harder to wait if it actually comes that evening. I doubt if I'll be able to sleep!

Yeah…that will be awful to have it sitting there and not be able to open it!!! I probably won't be able to sleep either! We'll have to stay up till midnight… :) lol

You think we're supposed to do that? I mean, what about the Bible Bee-ers in time zones behind us? If we opened our box at midnight, I could open our box two hours before you could. :P Or maybe it's midnight EST… in that case, you can open your box at 9:00 PM!
You know, I'm kind of thinking it's supposed to be neither.

Yeah, I don't know. :-/ I just can't imagine having to go to bed without opening it! :P If it was EST the people in Hawaii could open it at what? Is it 6:00?

Yeah, I know what you mean. We'll probably play it safe and open it Saturday morning - meaning the actual "morning" when everybody else gets up.

Or perhaps all this "maybe-ing" is for nothing and we won't get our box until Monday. Though, I don't even want to think like that! I guess we'll just wait and see.

In that case…I could get up at 3:00am because on the east cost it's 6:00…

That would be nice to us poor west coast people who don't get our materials until Monday. But we understand if you open it as soon as it is possibly fair. We are not (usually) outrageous. Just make sure you post on here what the book is as soon as you open it because midnight for you is 9:00 p.m. for us… (that would still be fair wouldn't it? I mean, usually we have THREE WHOLE HOURS less of studying than the east coast every year!)

@Ashely, yeah….we're having a good opportunity to to practice patience. :D

So today my little sister came running out of our bedroom saying that the UPS truck was up the street and we all got so excited thinking that our box had come and then he drives down the street and we think he is going to go past but instead he stops at our house! We all get even more excited and we were so disappointed to see that it wasn't our Bible Bee box but a package for my brother :( We were SO disappointed.

Well, the UPS truck came and went…..NO BIBLE BEE BOX!!!!! Just a box of vitamins :P

@Ashley: Do you think it would be fair to find out the book we'll be studying at 9:00 west coast time if someone posts it on memverse when they open their box at midnight east coast time? The Bees are pretty much all the same time so it would be the same hours of study.

Lol, yeah… :) What I really hate is going out to Nationals and having a three hour time difference!!

I believe that it would not be fair to announce the book untill the National Bible Bee website has posted it on their website. That way there will be no confusion as to when it should or shouldn't come out because the official website has annouced it.

Come on guys, is it really that hard to wait!?! If your box arrives early please DON'T open it!!! You guys can think of a kind of fasting… a fasting from opening the box.

Maybe? Just a thought…

I am glad we won't get ours three days ahead. It would be really hard to wait that long!

I know. These Bible Bees make you grow in so many unexpected ways. sighs But sometimes it's growing is so hard. looks chastised ;) (that wasn't my chastised look; I couldn't find a chastised look on the keyboard so I had to use that one.)

Oh, I know. It would so hard to wait – I guess that shows how impatient we are :)

Our box did come and I hadn't seen/received any email saying don't open till the 1st. I actually opened and when reviewing the rule book, saw that I should not have shared any of it until the 1st. Well, my family knows the Bible book for this summer but refused to look through things until Saturday. I agree with the comment that God is helping us to grow in some unexpected ways through our involvement in the Bee. Patience is my first exercise for the day.
To all Bible Bee-ers: our family will be praying for your families this summer. Please also uphold our family in prayer as we desire to be all God wants us to become.
