I got the same shirt as I did last year! and my 2 brothers each got a different shirt! One with last year's verse and one with this year's.

Ummm, their….interesting. :) I liked the ones last year a lot better. It'll be kinda interesting having them back to back like that… And it will be a lot easier to bend them up.:) What do you think of them?

Yeah, I agree with everything you said. They're also kind of hard to read… I think to fix the bending problem, we're going to get our cards laminated.

I have a little sister named Emily too. And she's leaning over my shoulder yelling, "Tell her you have a sister named Emily!!!!!" =D

Sort of! I already added most of the verses to memverse, there were just a few that aren't in the system yet and I didn't feel like putting them in. :P :P Are you working on the Sword Study or the verses? :) Do you have a lot of the verses memorized already?

Verses. I didn't look at how many I have already memorized. What about you? I'm working on memorizing Psalm 111:10. I've almost got it done.

Do you have any siblings? As you already know, I have siblings :), I have 4 younger sisters. This year I'm helping two of them with their Sword Studies, which I'm sure will really help me.

I memorize verses, by repeating them over and over, but what works best for me is putting pictures to the words. I use clip art and stuff and then compile it all on a PowerPoint slide. It really helps! What about you?

Yes, I will be blessed by helping my sister! Do you and Everett study together, or practice your verses together? Siblings are so helpful!

No, we didn't. Did you? :) We got them in 2010 and 2011, but I'm more of a visual learner, so it took me forever to memorize them from the songs. :)

I did that for one National passage (put pictures to the words) last year that I was having SO much trouble with. It helped so much!! But I just drew the pictures….and….my drawing is AWFUL. =D

What do y'all think of the Young Explorer (Level 1) Sword Study, for those of you who got it? I personally wasn't impressed with the content for Primaries studying. It is great for five and six year olds, but I think Zachary, who is seven, should probably use his brother's Level 2 SS to study, if not get his own.

Only Brianna got the 2013 shirt. I got 2010 - again.

Oh…Is that the same year shirt you got last year? What did you get at Nationals? I got a 2011 shirt a locals last year and a 2012 shirt at Nationals. This I got a 2011 shirt and Everett got a 2012 shirt. But my mom ordered a shirt and hers has the 2013 verse on it.

Yeah, I got 2010 last year also. Last year at Nationals I got 2012, which is what I think everybody got there.

All - if you are wanting to print your verse cards, print them from the BB website. The logo isn't as bold and they're easier to read :)

My Dad has challenged me to memorize all the verses by June 22. And all those math wizzes will immediately notice that's more than one card per day. I'm sure it will be fun, and challenging. Then I'll have more time to focus on understanding 1 John!

That'll be great if you can get them done by June 22! :) I'm going to try to memorize mine quickly too, so I can focus on 1 John. But I haven't set a date I want them finished by yet. :)
