Horses are amazing. Especially talking ones.

Totally!!!! The Horse and His Boy used to be my favorite Narnia book…I loved that part when he was talking to Bree and wishing he could talk :P

Lol, my brother says it's because I crashed into something and knocked all my other teeth out :P But I seriously do have all my teeth =D And I do have glasses (which I hate, btw, but when I have to sit 2 feet away from the tv to be able to tell which of Joseph's brother's is talking…..yeah:P:). They're rectangular kind of like those, but their purple :P

Mike's are rectangular, too, but they're black. He says I look ugly in mine (they're something of a tortoiseshell-brown ovalish-shape), but I think he's kidding me.

Nearsighted. So I have to take off my glasses when I'm reading or my eyesight gets worse. I can't read when I have contacts in or I could hurt my eyes. :-(

Nearsighted too :( I can't stand reading with glasses on. Sometimes I kind of have to if I'm copying from something far away though. It's so annoying.

Yeah. :-( Supposedly if you hold the book a little out of your comfort zone (with your glasses off, of course), it makes your eyes stornger if you're nearsighted. I've not tried this, but logically it should work.

If you think about it logically. (sorry:P:) That's interesting…my comfort zone is like an inch and a half away. :P

I got both PC and VODT for my birthday, so now we have all 3 movies!!!!! (dances around from happiness)
I also got Narnia Stratego (the board game). The good guys' team is so hard to win with! I haven't won once, because I always play with the good guys, and I've played something like a dozen times. The nice thing is that I always get first dibs on the good guys because my brothers like the bad guys (because they're easier to win with). And I always, always choose the good guys.
And I finally got around to cartoonizing (??) the Narnia characters. I did the Pevensies and Caspian from PC. LOL They look pretty funny.

Lol :) I watched VODT the other day for the first time. It was pretty good. :)

I've never been Interested enough to read the book but when I was little we would listen to the audio tapes. :)
BTW- idk why everyone was complaining about Caspian's beard cause he looks just as good if not better. :P lol JK JK

Oh, I didn't know there was a complaint! I didn't mind it. I liked him in VODT, and I liked him in PC (although I do wish he'd comb his hair!!).

That's true too. Nightmare island was kinda like a bad guy in the book but it didn't make much sense I liked that they built a plot off of that it made it more interesting. :)

Yeah, the only real battle in the book was the sea serpent battle. There wasn't any battle at Narrowhaven (or, as my brothers and I call it, the handcuff battle).

As Andrew Adamson (the director for the first 2 movies) mentioned in the LWW commentary, "It's because you get to play with swords!!"

the sea serpent battle is so creepy!!! :O

I know! The thing that creeped me out most about the serpent was actually not its teeth or its eyes or its "legs", but the fact that it was covered so thickly in slime that even though it had just come out of the water, it could catch on fire! Ewww!

A few random questions: How many people on here are on The Lion's Call? Is signing up for it free? Do you have to have an email address? (I'm hoping to join it but I had a few questions first.)

And I have to say that SBG forgot someone when he mentioned who the two main people on this thread would be…but then again, that was before I was a Narnian.

Did anyon else notice that the producers/makers of the third movie didn't respect the book?

And…er…I don't mean to bother you guys, Caspian and Edmund, but there are seven lords you might want to rescue, but if it's too much of a bother and it gets in the way of your schedule of looking for their swords instead…

I feel like that was the main difference between the third and the other two. It wasn't even that they changed stuff.. They just didn't seem to respect the book…

Yeah, and in PC I didn't mind the Peter vs. Caspian stuff as much as you'd expect (I mean, I wish they'd left it out and all, but it was tolerable) but in VODT, what's with the power struggle between Caspian and Edmund!?!? They can't do that to my favorite character!!! (Er, "favorite" besides Aslan, and tied with Reepicheep, that is…)

It was announced on the morning of October 1st. It is all over the news. I think that it was even Mr. Doug Gresham who made the announcement. Anyway, I am pretty sure that this is no rumor. They already have named the producer and, I think, the director.
