So on a scale of 1 to 10, 1 being easiest and 10 being the hardest in your life, how would you say the written test was on a scale of hardness?
About 4-5, with a normal BB test about 6.

How did David do?

Hi all! I’ve never posted on this forum before, but I’ve been following it over the past few days and the Lord has laid on my heart to share this word of encouragement with all of you.
Paul exhorts us in Colossians chapter three to set our hearts and minds, not on earthly things, but on things above. So I’d just like to refocus our attention on what really matters. Whatever happens tomorrow with the scores and who gets to move on to nationals or not, the goal and purpose of this contest is that we all know Christ more. Therefore, if this has happened in your life and you are abiding in Christ more completely and reveling in His presence and Word, then you have won the highest prize already. Everything else, qualifying for nationals for example, is just icing on the cake. Our viewpoint should be that of Paul in Philippians, “I count everything as loss compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord.” Qualifying for nationals falls under that category of everything. Therefore don’t be disappointed if you don’t make the top 120, but rejoice in the surpassing greatness of knowing our Lord Jesus Christ, remembering that God is totally in control and that one’s ranking is completely dependent on the comparative performance of others. Success is measured in human standards comparative to others, but excellence is measured by personal diligence.
In closing, those who continue on to nationals will just be spending more time inductively studying God’s Word and memorizing Scripture, which those who don’t qualify can do too. So no matter what happens, keep pressing on to know the Lord! I’ll be praying that He who began a good work in each and every one of you this summer will carry it on to completion until Christ’s return.
Joyfully in Christ,
Kristin

Definitely a 9 or a 10!

May I ask what it is? :)
@Rachel - What what is? (sorry, I didn't get back on last night. :))
I think I would rate the test at a… um… 8? Maybe a 9. :)

BTW, you know, @Emily, (and Bethany, and Margaret, and pretty much everyone), I'm guessing that there's a lot of Seniors around the country right now who are thinking they've done horrible. Probably not too many are sure of themselves right now (I'm not even completely sure of myself). Leave it in the Lord's hands, of course, but you shouldn't give up on Nats quite yet, especially if you studied hard during the summer.
Ahh… you mean "don't count your chickens that aren't hatching before they haven't hatched"? ;)

You said, "May I ask what it is?" and it said that it was "in reply to I <3 Jesus (Bethany)," so I'm guessing you meant me. :)
