That's not too bad…. When Matthew posted that from FAQs saying they wouldn't tell us how many verses until they released the scores….well, I started to let my imagination run away with me, and yeah, 750 is really not bad at all :P

You are right, Emily. 1,000 is probably too much, but I think that 750 is just the right amount. I wish they had done that many verses in previous years… Still, I hope you all do well on this next step toward nationals. :)

I have to memorize 600 verses. It's not a lot, but it will definitely be the most I've ever memorized.

I think it's a lot… :P :D The most verses I've done was in 2011 as a Jr, which was 700 for locals and nationals together.

The verses shouldn't be that hard though. But Ephesians is really long and has so much content!

I know… Did you see where it says that the verses are different for each age group and don't overlap!?? That's sad! :(

I came in #90 for the Juniors!
I cannot believe I qualified – after Locals, I thought for sure that I didn't make it – Praise the Lord! :) Well, that means lots more studying to do now :)

Okay, so I am not the only one in my family who qualified (obviously).
Christian (ChiefOfSinners) came in #9 for the Seniors (!!!!!!!!!!!!) :D
Nicolas (SavedByGrace) came in #43 for the Seniors (I think, I could be wrong ;)
And Titus (Wretched Son #4) came in #120 for the Primaries (!!!!!!!) :D We (or rather, I) thought it was so funny that Titus qualified by only one place – though, he himself, is quite distressed over the amount of verses he has to memorize…..;-) :D

So overall, our family has been extremely blessed to have 4 National qualifiers this year :D :D
EDIT: I was just reading through the past pages on here, and realized that you all knew which of us qualified already….oh well :)

In finals, they will ask questions and verses and give points for each answered correctly. The one with most points wins.
