Yeah, I remember that, but that was GWN not WORLD. Besides, it was more about the entire BB contest than about Liesl. I wouldn't be surprised, though, if it's been included in WORLD before.

Maybe you're right - I just remember it had a picture of her, and was almost like an interview of her. Tell me once and for all - what's the difference between GWN and WORLD???

Victorious Ryan Sinni, 17, became the first male winner in the senior division of the National Bible Bee since 2009. Sinni, a homeschooler, won the contest's $100,000 grand prize and said he plans to go to law school or seminary after he attends college. The bee included 120 top contestants from around the country competing in Scripture recitation and answering Bible knowledge questions.

What do you use in your laundry?

Well, we were using a store-bought detergent until recently, but Mama has been making homemade detergent for a few weeks now.

Is she making a detergent, or laundry soap? Because any sort of detergent bothers me- it is a bunch of chemicals that are not good for us. Laundry soap is actually soap, so it doesn't bother me. Other things to check are for scents other than natural scents- candles, 'Airwick' style things, baby products, shampoo & conditioner, etc, etc.

I'm not exactly sure - I'll have to ask her. I guess a better term for it would be laundry soap.

Just made my fifth batch of sorbet. Honey, water, lemon juice, and blueberries!

Does anyone like green smoothies? The kinds with lots of green vegetables, etc?

What do you put in it?

Healthy sorbet recipe
1 cup water
1/2 cup honey
1 cup lemon juice
homemade truvia to taste
blueberries to taste (optional)

Make a syrup by mixing water and honey on medium heat until well mixed. Add lemon juice. Cool to room temperature. Add rest of ingredients. Put in ice cream michiene and make by its directions.

My mom and brother make those sometimes…

Of course ;-) It means "Trim Healthy Mama" - based on the book (Trim Healthy Mama :). I obviously haven't read it myself, but Mom has/is. It shows how one can eat healthy, and yet the food still taste great at the same time, and…a bunch of other stuff that I wouldn't know. :)

"Great" as in, "great". It really does taste good - maybe not all of the food, but for the most part…I guess you are picky though. :P

We do make ice cream in the VitaMix. We use goat milk, so we put avocados in all our ice cream to make it creamy.

Ever tried putting a raw egg in the ice cream you make in the VitaMix?

Not usually, though we do sometimes. The avocados give it a pretty green color, too. Oh, and now my brother is allergic to eggs, so we can't do that anyways. Poor boy didn't get any eggnog over Christmastime :P
