Dalek weapons are effective against Daleks, but it takes a few shots. In that time, you could be dead. Any high-energy capacitator could do the trick, though. It needs to have a lot of power.

My mom gets the DVDs off Amazon, but when I get back to Ohio (I'm in Maryland right now), I'll help you find a place to watch them online. :)
