He didn't finish all his verses xPAnd you studied way more than me. XDO.O I could not be more shocked right now. Praise God!You beat me by 9 places!
You can share my song with him too, then.

@Carissa: See, Cari?! You didn't do as badly as you expected, now, did you? ;D
No, I didn't. :)
biblebee
Rosie you did so good!! XD
*Well
Christian Alexander
@Bethany: My jaw literally dropped when I saw that you were 29th. o.o I am so happy for you! You did an awesome job – on both the test and orals! You weren't very far off from my test score at all. I'm very proud of you. =]
@Cari: 45th is really awesome, too! That's an improvement from previous years at Nats, right? And you still have two years to improve even further. ;) I'm proud of you, too. =)
As I suspected, my test score would have gotten me into the semi-finals if I had received a perfect oral score. That was really my main goal – to do well enough on the test to rank beside the semi-finalists, even if I couldn't manage getting a perfect oral score. So I'm please with how I did, and I'm grateful to God for the strength that He gave me during those 2 months of intense studying.

It's actually not an improvement. I placed 43rd last year. But it's an improvement from what I thought I'd get.
You did an awesome job, Christian!
Christian Alexander
Alright, well, I think it is still very admirable – especially based on how much work you put into it. =) I was static for a couple of years at 34th place, so I think there's definitely a chance for you to improve even more next year. =] I'll definitely be cheering you on! ;)
And thank you. =]
Esther Grace
ohmygosh, I got 18th.
2 Corinthians 5:17
Esther!!! That's great!! :D
Christian Alexander
ohmygosh, I got 18th.
Wow!! Congratulations! How many years have you been competing?
@ Rachel: How did you place?
Esther Grace
All 6 (but I didn't make it to Nationals that first year XP). What about you?

Thanks, Christian. I really appreciate it. Believe me, my jaw dropped too, for sure. I was not expecting that. Definitely my best year, and a good way to finish my BB experience! You did awesome as well! Neat we were only 3 points off from each other!
2 Corinthians 5:17
You did incredible, Christian! :D
I came in 62nd, with overall score of 647/900. Not the greatest, but I really don't feel like I did terrible either, because I did my best, left the results up to the Lord, and that's what matters. Next year though, I hope to qualify and do even better! ;-)
biblebee
Thank you. :)
Christian Alexander

Haha, I thought that was cool, too. =] But it wouldn't have been as cool if we were, like, 84th and 87th. XD

That is very good, for a first time qualifier! I'm sure you'll learn from your experience and do excellently next year. =]
His Servant
True that. But, guess what…back in 2011, I believe I was 87th and you were 82nd or somewhere really near mine. So, we know both of what it feels like. :)
2 Corinthians 5:17
Why, thank you =] Yes, I've learned quite a few things that if I qualify next year I will do differently. :)
Christian Alexander
Oh wow, I had no idea. XD I probably could have told you I was in the 80s in my first year.. but I really don't remember much about that year. Let alone how you placed. =p I barely even knew you existed. xP
Emma
Wow, that's amazing! Great job!
2 Corinthians 5:17
Where did you place? :)
Esther Grace
Thanks. :) Where did you place?

Haha..we always keep all the scores from each competition. :) Same here…for sure. I basically knew there was a SavedByGrace but no one else. :P
Christian Alexander
All 6 (but I didn't make it to Nationals that first year XP). What about you?
Sorry, I missed that you had responded.
Wow, I didn't know you'd been in it that long! We've been competing since the first year as well. Nicolas and I both first qualified in 2011, and we've been qualifiers each year since. =]

Hahaha, yeah, he was basically a celebrity at the Bible Bee, since everyone from MV knew who he was, and it was really the first time there was a MV community at the Bible Bee. So everyone wanted to meet him. xD And I was just like, "Yeah, and I'm ChiefOfSinners and you might know who I am, but maybe not since I'm not on as much as SavedByGrace is." =P

Neat! My mom was actually a host that first year - the first host from Oregon. :) I first qualified in 2010, and have qualified ever since (although I didn't go in 2012 and 2013). Did you go in 2011?
Congrats, btw. :) And congrats to Bethany and Carissa and Nicolas and Rosie and Rachel and Margaret and everyone else!!
His Servant
Nicolas was really the only one I knew from MV in 2011. I didn't really start meeting MV people until 2013. And this year was definitely the biggest year yet of a MV meet-up thing at nationals. =)

Nice! Our parents have been hosts the last two years. We did go in 2011, so I guess we were both at Nats the same year once. ;) That year was awesome because of all of the speakers. =D
Thanks!

I remember meeting…Zachary Baas. Oh, and the Watt brothers. But that's about it. xP
His Servant
Heyyyy. Now that I think about it, I think I might have said hi to Alex and Zachary too. But nothing more than that. =) Not that I really said that much to Nicolas other than asking if he was Nicolas. ;)

Lol. Yeah, I maybe said one word to you, if even that. I know I saw you, and I feel like I did probably tell you who I was, but maybe I didn't. Maybe I just quickly walked away, because that's what I tended to do when I was in a situation where I was going to have to say hi to someone I didn't know – especially if it was a girl. =p
Esther Grace
And the Family Fun Area was pretty awesome too. :) And the Gettys lead worship on Sunday! And Olivia won Primaries for the 2nd time in a row. And it was just an amazing year. Actually, all three times I've been to Nationals have been amazing. :)

Yes, the worship service was very good. =) Voddie Baucham is one of our favorite pastors.
Haha, yeah, all four years I've gone have been tremendous. Each year gets better, just because I know people better and have more meaningful friendships to re-kindle, but no year was anything less than amazing. =]
Esther Grace
Congratulations on 29th, Bethany!! :D

Exactly.

Congratulations to you, Esther, you did amazing!! XD

I don't think I ever talked to you that year, if I remember correctly. I remember you guys sitting several rows ahead of us, and I remember thinking - oh, that must be SavedByGrace's family. xP But, honestly, I don't remember seeing you then other than like once or twice, and it was like, across the room.
SavedByGrace
Wow, was I that much of a celebrity back then? xP

Well, I know I "met" you when you said hi to Nicolas right after Carissa did. But it was very brief, and I may not have even said anything to you. I probably just watched you say hi to Nicolas and was grateful that you didn't try to say hi to me. xD
Esther Grace
Congratulations to you, Esther, you did amazing!! XD
Thanks. :)

You did really well Esther! I have a soft spot for 18th place…
We tied in the written, by the way.

I guess so. ;) BTW, great job on getting 23rd! You did great!

Congrats, Nicolas!
Btw, I have a brother named Nicholas. :)

Thank you! :) And congratulations to you as well! :D
Cool! :D But it's not the same. ;P JK
God's Maiden of Virtue
Leah, I'm proud of you, because you chose to participate even though you knew that you would only have 2-3 weeks to study or memorize! :D
Esther Grace
Why only 2-3 weeks?
God's Maiden of Virtue
She was in C—-! :D
